Thanks TheFrogKeeper for placing this cache and for the ongoing maintenance. Find #10859 on 11/11/2024 at 7:04PMTgood hide
Was in the area visiting a show when I thought I'd do a few caches to fill in some gaps to kill some time afterwards. Managed to knock off more than I thought and this was the last one for the day. This one took a while as I looked in the obvious places and was convinced it was missing. Then I saw it at the right angle. Little Bugger! TNLN. Cheers.
Veni. Vidi. Vici. Scripsi. Heading out to do the afternoon grandkids pickup and saw this cache was almost on the way. So a small detour was made to make the find. Parked nearby and wandered over to the equipment located at GZ. Spotted the cache in the first place I looked. Gotta love that. Thankfully, the trees shielded me from a nearby muggle. Retrieved the cache, extracted the log and signed it, and then replaced all as found. Back to the car to find a park and complete this log before collecting the grandkids. All was quiet when we reached this park this afternoon. Accurate coordinates and a limited number of hiding spots led to a quick find. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks Freddo for the cache.
Met up with Doctor Owl and CPwanderer for breakfast then went and found a few caches before a lunch event. CP left us after the event and the Owl and I continued on for the afternoon. Another good day with quite a few caches we all hadn't found along with lots of the usual banter. We were in the area so headed to this one for a quick find. Thanks for the cache TheFrogKeeper.
CPWanderer informed Owl of a lunch event and invited her to go caching around the event. This quickly turned into the proposed weekly caching trip with JJ52. The overly-ambitious list of mutually unfound caches was not achieved but there was fun, frivolity, a short maintenance run and good food along the way until CP had to go home. The women carried on without him and added to their tally nicely, including this cache.
Apologies for the late log her; finally catching up on some logs forgotten in the drafts folder.I recall approaching GZ here and thinking thats not a wattle. It helps to have read the description properly beforehand. An easy find - Im not good at caches on bits of machinery - but its not a nano and that helps greatly. Thanks for this hide TheFrogKeeper.
Two Confused geocachers+OzGuff set out for Mystery Tuesday. The Plan for today was the Starfish picked up the Rat from her nest. Then we set out to pick up OzGuff.WE followed the boxes.A quick find by the Rat today. Tftc

Wasn't in a hidey hole that I thought it would be. After much searching saw it. Interesting piece of old machinery. Thanx
On a caching trip around the big smoke with Mr froghoppin again. The city and suburbs just keep on giving [^]Oh that was much better than I thought it would be! Despite the mint tin! Thank you TheFrogKeeper for this cache hide and ongoing care and maintenance ---------------- ----------------------In a dangerous world filled with rusty old mint tins and solid caches falling from trees - - - a cache a day keeps us agile... sort of --------Caches are logged using the resources of gsak, garmin, and androids, occasionally AI too! (And a little rubber stamp ) Work gets in the way - and some may take longer to log than others due to mixed technology and need for sleep! The skill and talent of some Zenior Zombies helps, and maybe a spot of luck too [:o)]----------Cache carefully and make sure Travel Bugs are the Only bugs you share and pass on Clean as you go and cache the countryside Big thanks to those placing quality caches out and about around our country areas, in nice safe places and containers especially! - it keeps our game fun for all Of course we do appreciate if you actually did read all this extra addition to the log word count! There's a challenge somewhere out there, or so we've been told! You win a virtual smiley for the effort and getting to the end of the log Maybe if I worked out where it is I could do it and go back to normal logs again ! If you find the challenge let me know and perhaps we can put an end to these long logs !!! Maybe not though - as someone actually did read to the end and alerted me to just a project GC badge that requires long logs [:o)] Well at least it's not as bad as finding a mint tin! Did you get that... stop putting out rusty mint tins, just stop it, now!!! C'est fini... For now... ... until tomorrow! A peaceful park on the suburbs here, cache found and is all good hereToday I headed out around the eastern suburbs collecting some unfound caches that I was yet to find. Thanks for the cache
Found with KLCed on a nice sunny Sunday. GPS had us stumped and walking in circles for a while. Cache found, log retrieved, signed and returned to its home. TFTC
An interesting park that I had never visited before. Thanks for a fun cache.I will apologize right now, because everything from here on is here solely for the purpose of padding the word count and winning that one hundred word diamond badge again. Somebody moved the goal posts. So many caches to find. So many caches to log. We find them, sign them and replace them. This particular geocache was found using one of the following GPS enabled devices, Garmin GPSr, Montana 680t, Oregon 650 or Dakota 20 and an Apple iPhone 11 using the marvelous Cachly app. Waypoints and paperless geocaching were downloaded via GSAK 9. Log prepared, checked and submitted using GSAK publish logs macro.Warning, this hobby can be addictive. It can lead to exercise, meeting new people and finding interesting places you might not have known existed otherwise. Beware: you may have fun. Apologies for the generic part of the cache log. We do apologise for the generic logs. Thanks to all the cache owner for placing this cache here for our enjoyment. Thanks for the cache. Merci la cache. Danke fr den Cache. Gracias por el cach.
