Found with minniek as we were heading home from the Canberra Penrith Invasion 2024 over the long weekend.Day 3 of the Canberra Penrith Invasion 2024. With a long weekend upon us a plan was hatched to do another Penrith Invasion as there are still many quality caches up here that we haven't found. We drove up early on Saturday and concentrated on the Band Caches and Horcrux Series, along with many others along the way, then a dinner event at Panthers. Sunday's adventure started with brekkie at Maccas, then a trip up to the Blue Mountains for some quality Caches. Today's adventures started with a morning get together, then consisted of the Caramel Hills series plus anything else that came along before the drive home. We then all split up and went our separate ways ultimately heading for home(s). We always enjoy visiting Warragamba Dam, and with a new Virtual here we made that a priority. Answers have been sent to the CO. Photo attached. Fav Point awarded !Thanks The Booos !!
Monday - and its time to head home. We met up with everyone for the morning before heading to a couple of caches together, then we split from the gang and started our slow trek home. We stopped for caches, so it took us all day to get home. But we had fun doing so. Y was probably the highlight for me. We spent quite a bit of time there, including having lunch at the takeaway. It wasnt too bad, just fish and chips and we sat at one of the AL WPs at the recreational area. Then it got late and the last couple of hours was just driving directly to home. This cache: What a fun spot. So busy today too. A lot of people here having picnics. As the stupid AL App wasnt working properly we didnt realise that there was some WPs here and so had come here first before realising we should have visited here last. Oh well we will just have to come back again one day Tftc!!!

Reperio 11:50I headed to Sydney today for a few days away, and this time I was joined by a work colleague who had never experienced geocaching before. We took a detour towards Warragamba Dam before eventually making our way to Darling Harbour. As this was my muggle friends first time seeing the dam, he was amazed. I always enjoy the view from here. Decided to go for a nice Sunday drive in a area haven't been back for a while. Driving down Production Road hundreds of bike riders were leaving the dam area which disturbed the peace of the lovely area . Always nice to go the dam . Noted the answers to the questions which has been sent to CO. Lots of muggles around but managed to quickly take a photo as requested. Thank you Booos for setting up this lovely Virtual highlighting your local area .
Done with WaywardWoman. Always happy to visit Warragamba. Great Virtual! Fav point.
#7591- A busy day here nearing at the end of school holidays. Always good having a wander around the dam, and even better finding this virtual with thomo31. A favourite point from me. Thanks
Day 81 of my longest ever streak (embarrassingly short compared to the last finders!). I was planning on stopping at 70 days, then 75, then 80, but this was a quick detour on the way home from work so why not make it 81 Not too many muggles around on this Sunday afternoon.Answers sent to the CO.TFTC

On my way to the event at The 'Riff, I dropped by to do the latest virtual out at Warragamba Dam. I remember visiting here as a little lad with my family. And have been here a few times since thanks to geocaching. The dam is very full after all the rain we have had this year. It is a marvellous piece of engineering. To think that it supplies so much water to Great Sydney. Answers sent to CO and photo attached. Congratulations on your Virtual Reward. TFTV.
Made a quick detour to Warragamba on the way home after attending a geo-event in Penrith this afternoon. Last time I was here, I think I did an AL so it's nice to see a virtual here now ... thanks for creating it Booos. Selfie attached and answers to your questions are on the way.
Visited the dam, late in the afternoon. Found the required answers. All quiet at 4pm here.
This came up yesterday, however work commitments come first. Came here today just after the gates opening. Another familiar sight for many Sydneysiders, pre-GC and post-GC eras. For all of us to drink from all those dammed water. Nice to celebrate this spot as my fifty [FTF]. A chilly winter morning. Thanks The Booos
