Thanks for your amazing cache kre8ive. I really appreciate the time you took to set up and maintain your caches. Found with Fisha1288 Cheers, Cympull.
So how does it sound? well, we were thinking that we are hearing pigs who just getting lunch, pushing each other to get closer to the food ... funny place ... we saw a car parked just at this location, sure these must have been other cachers . let's see who logs next TFTC
Its the converter thats sucking up all the cell phone reception and dissolving it into steam, obviously!
Guessing this is just condensing/separating the steam and water. Looks like others checked the tree like me before checking the hint. TFTC.
Didnt take long to find here. Interesting pot cooking up lots of delicious treats. Tftc
Quick find once you get your head around. Sounded like it was cooking up naughty individuals.
See this as I drove past and wonder what it's for. Discover a cache was here so made a stop to have a better look. Little waterfall coming out the other side of it. My thought was you could boil a few crayfish in that. Interesting spot. Tftc.
. A day in Rotorua with McJandals collecting new caches. That pot certainly looks hot found it by looking at obvious spot TFTC
What to do on a Sunday. Come caching. A plan was hatched with nz flossy to come and clear some if the new caches as we havent been over here for a while. Many thanks to the COs for the placements. Had us overthinking this lol. Bad reception.
Nicely done and fun to see the Witches Cauldron after visiting Hells Gate. Greetings from Chicagoland. TFTC!
Heading north with tmann421 for a few days. This was day three with plenty of miles for us to cover.Enjoyed the hide hereSigned log tm/ww NZTFTC
*Good short trip away with woolwood9 finding some geocaches along the way!*We soon had the container located here and the log stamped. SL *tm/ww NZ*Thank you for the reason to visit this area. Really interesting spot to visit.
**20,662**Heading to Rotorua to perform maintenance on one of our caches and couldn't go past this new placement. A nice quick find here and early enough in the morning that there were no muggles to be seen anywhere. Now off to check Hells Gate and then on to Maccas (a frozen coke will go down nicely). TFTC
Making our way from Gisborne to Rotorua and knowing we couldn't book into our accommodation until 5pm, meant we had time to pick up some caches on the way. Quick easy find near this volcanic sulphur emission regulator TFTCTim and Viv - ddm
A new caches around town thanks Kre8tive appreciate your effort in these placements. Stopped by on my way home from work for a quick find.
A really interesting object, particularly the old gas canister acting as a safety valve. TFTC.
With Gap (of Fap and Gap) Its Tuesday again, and thats another opportunity to boost my cache finds. I am working on the All Week 400 - Challenge (GCAHJZQ), and Tuesday is a big target. We obviously drive through this area with our eyes shut. Were assuming this noisy contraption is a geothermal bore We had a good nose around before arriving at the cache. The thin wiring already looked bent out of shape, so we replaced it with a thicker ring. Thanks kre8ive. TFTC.
#13,995. I was staying overnight in Rotorua and driving back to Wellington today. Picking up a few local caches before I head south. This was one of them. The cellphone reception here is crap so had to sort of guess what I was looking for while the GPS was doing a long update. Finally spotted the container in a logical spot. Yes the steam pot is intriguing. My uncle used to farm near Tikitere and told us as kids that there was a taniwha living in Lake Rotokawau and not go swimming there. I suspect a secret government agency has caught the beast and imprisoned it in a cage under this spot. What you are hearing and seeing is its hot frothy breath. Hopefully it wont escape while you are searching for the cache. Keep checking over your shoulder! Thanks kre8ive for hiding it here.
Second person to find : ) In good condition. Great container. Bad cellphone coverage out here so use GPs or download before you go.
Another new cache notification at an opportune time, so headed over for a quick find at this curious little spot. Good cache container, opened up to happily see an empty log for another joint [FTF] with Jgersmum and Punga & Paua. I think it sounded like a rather gassy toilet session
