Driving along a road here off the M31 somewhere between Goulburn and Yass to grab some LBHs on our way to VIC and, oh cool - a team737 cache! Two geokids UP to locate the familiar container, which would have to be about the best containers of their kind, that we've come across anyways. I'm told that was a fun climb - you be the judge (see pics). TFTC, Samuel737.#2032

A long day of caching on some of the older Australian roads. Great day. TFTC

04-Jul-24
A straightforward find here today, thanks Samuel737!

A wet cold day around this region today however running in and out of cars soon had us warming up. Fun drive with a bit of history around to enjoy despite the inclement weather. Quick find. TFTC Samuel737!

17-Jun-24
For my last day off of my annual leave, I decided to head to Goulburn for the CITO. Of course I went and found other caches that have been on the to-find-list for far too long. I found 25 caches today which all had various different cache types, containers, hides and D/T ratings. I started off finding the caches along Lerida Rd before heading into Goulburn for a few more caches and of course the CITO. The CITO was great fun as well. I also enjoyed the catch up with everyone and spending a bit of time finding a few caches together. Most were easy finds but a few were a difficult to get in hand plus I also had one DNF. I enjoyed my day out and now time to head home. TB visit on all found caches. A big thanks to the CO for adding this cache to game for the Geocaching community to enjoy. Big Grin TFTE & TFTCs! Big Grin

13-Jun-24
Headed out this morning with ilookgeo, but not early as the ground was rather frosty and crisp. All the caches along this road were easily spotted and retrieved. Both names were soon added to mark our visit. All is back where found. Thanks go to Samuel737 for this cache.

13-Jun-24
Went for a short drive today with goingplaces2 and picked up some caches along the way. Had no trouble making the finds. Saw lots of sheep and kangaroos along the way. TFTC.

11-May-24
This one took much longer than it should have but eventually, we came up with what we were searching for. Thanks for placing this cache for all to enjoy.

11-May-24
With the rain coming down quite well, it didn't make it easy to look for caches today but we managed to find this one eventually. Thank you for the placing of this cache.

21-Apr-24
I was unable to spot the cache from the ground via torchlight, but it is very easy to climb, so the ascent was made and the cache spotted soon after. Juggling all the bits of the container, I dropped my pen, so I got to climb the tree more than once! It was too dark for flickering shadows. Thanks for the cache Team737

17-Apr-24
It's not often I get the opportunity to get to a GGGT, so when I was free to actually get up the highway to get there, #94 and #95 just happen to be my first. Better late than never! With KittyKatch, Contesta, LuckyL10n and Albida, we set off in the afternoon with some letterbox caching along the way. The afternoon of caches went very quickly, and a 'one last cache' that had us the wrong side of the tracks, or the right side really for the barriers to stop us and wait for the train to pass and keep passing... it was a longer train than expected, and a bit of fun watching it wondering when it would even end! We arrived at the CITO to be greeted by a very large group. Where it was good to catch up, although not too cold, it was nice to head inside into the warmth. It was a great evening of good company and conversation - and the lamb cutlets were definitely as good as I have been hearing about! I'm glad I've finally managed to get there and looking forward to trying to get back to another. Thanks for the cache!

Find # 12077Keen to attend as many of the mid-week Goulburn events as I can and so I was glad to join KittyKatch, albida33, LuckyL10, and aquillis for a spot of caching along the way.Today we were targeting some letterboxes and a challenge. Short days with fewer daylight hours means less time for caching but we did well. We even took experience a rural rail crossing in action with a very very long train keeping us waiting to cross the tracks to get back onto the highway. All caches located, retrieved, signed, and replaced. Thanks Samuel737 for Shadow Flicker and this nice little series

17-Apr-24
#19544 - 5:22:00 PM; Received an invitation to join albida33 for a caching run to Goulburn to attend a CITO and a catchup event for tea with our newlywed cachers afterwards. The plan was to collect some newer LBH caches which were not far from the major roads to our destination, along with a couple of others along the same stretch. We were joined by Kittykatch who performed driving duties with Contesta and Aquilus1 following behind. All up we managed 11 caches prior to the two events once we reached Goulburn. All were found in good condition and returned as found after the logs were signed. TFTC Samuel737 Smile

17-Apr-24
With lots of amazing events and activities over the past two months, it has been quite some time since an afternoon outing to Goulburn for dinner. This situation was rectified today and plans were made for some late afternoon caching before joining in for the pre-dinner CITO in Belmore Pk. I joined Kitty Katch, Aquillus, Contesta and LuckyL10n to tackle the newish series of Elementary puzzles, west of Goulburn. We had no trouble finding them, even if some of them had creeped from there advertised locations. As we went for the required just one more, not only had it become dark, but we had to wait for a train to get back on the highway, all very exciting. The windmills were doing their thing off in the distance, and we made the short climb up to this cache to sign the log. Thanks for the cache Samuel73746302.4 TNLNVisited: World Traveling Gold GC A#6 & 3000 Finds Achievement A#154**Albida**

Find#1941Found today on our first day caching around Goulburn. Me and Shaneo58 are down here to work on some challenge caches near home in the Hunter valley and trying to claim some unique DTs to fill our grid also. After arriving here we made a quick find. However it took us a while to get it. This cache container seems very familiar. Love a good tree climb. Cache and log in good condition TFTC

A nice little tree climb. The branches were evenly spaced so no problems reaching this one. I joined forces with Granny Smith who I ran into in the field. She spotted it and I retrieved it. Good teamwork. A favourite point for the fun. Thank you Team737, for placing Shadow Flicker for the geocaching community.# # SmileSmile #14688 SmileSmile # #

Day #6 Geobashing After a late night dash for a FTF, we were unprepared at the time for some of the other nearby caches so a group of us returned to finish them this morning.OZHockeyChick and I then spent the rest of the day touring the northern part of Canberra and into NSW, picking up all sorts of targeted caches.Followed Bucketeer again to this one and nabbed a nice monkey climb.A big thanks goes to Samuel737 for taking the time to add Shadow Flicker to the geocaching map for us all to find and enjoy.----------------------------------------------------------Looking for caches to find when visiting Victoria? A weekend of caching, labing, laughter, fun, and adventure with my great mates The Rats and Steeba. Just want I needed! A weekend like this is good for the soul.We headed from Wollongong to the Canberra Mega, via many caches and Labs along the way. We had a 48 hour early Easter window of opportunity that we needed to exploit! As always the banter was excellent, and the caching secondary to that. We found a lot of excellent caches, and this boiler plate log should not detract from them in any way.Thank you to all of the cache hiders, and the event committee.Cheers

Quick cache find. No flicker today. The trip bit.Easter geocaching festival of twenty twenty four. This time it is the turn of Oz Mega GeoBash MEGA event in the nation's capital. It is time for a road trip across country to Canberra in the Sporty Pajero Sports. Freddo and Gridge98 traveling from Adelaide via a strange inland route that takes in scenic rural locations, dusty roads, punctured tyres, overheating batteries, various tools of the trade, special campgrounds, and lots scope for many many geocaching finds. Along the way we saw running emus, jumping kangaroos, wandering deer, dead foxes, herds of wooly sheep and stray steers.Arriving in Canberra we met our colleagues e.gregory1, featherwaite, team walron, courtney rose, davidwazza, e_smilie, and georode, signing as ABP, plus a huge group of other like minded excited mega geocachers attending event after event, and more events.Day one. Adelaide to Broken HillDay two. Broken Hill to WellingtonDay three. Wellington to CowraDay four. Cowra to BathurstDay five. Bathurst to CanberraDay six. Canberra to CanberraDay seven. Canberra to QueenbeeyanDay eight. Canberra to AdelaideThe generic bit.I will apologize right now, because everything from here on is here solely for the purpose of padding the word count and winning that one hundred word diamond badge again. Somebody moved the goal posts. So many caches to find. So many caches to log. We find them, sign them and replace them. This particular geocache was found using one of the following GPS enabled devices, Garmin GPSr, Montana 680t, Oregon 650 or Dakota 20 and an Apple iPhone 11 using the marvelous Cachly app. Waypoints and paperless geocaching were downloaded via GSAK 9. Log prepared, checked and submitted using GSAK publish logs macro.Warning, this hobby can be addictive. It can lead to exercise, meeting new people and finding interesting places you might not have known existed otherwise. Beware: you may have fun. Apologies for the generic part of the cache log. We do apologise for the generic logs. Thanks to all the cache owner for placing this cache here for our enjoyment. Thanks for the cache. Merci la cache. Danke fr den Cache. Gracias por el cach. That tree climb was a bit awkward or perhaps we made it awkward. After not finding anything in the first tree we climbed we moved in to the next climbable tree and spotted it from the ground. Our silly GPS said it was in the other tree about 5m left. Anyway all is good here with your cache. Gee we had no idea those wind turbines were so noisy. Theyre all turning this morning. Thank you for the cache and fun climb.

Caching around the area, enjoying the country road.A quick find here. Signed and replaced as found. Many thanks for placing this cache, Samuel737, for us and others to find.

Another adventure to the North, sweeping through areas I've yet to cache in. All caches found without issue, signed and replaced as found (or better). Anything of note or interest added to the end of log. A quick easy climb with th ecache only spotted once above ground level, in the most obvious tree to me. Wow, those wind turbines are certainly something. TNLNSL TFTC

Found and signed dsd on a cold dark night.

04-Feb-24
It feels odd logging Team737 caches on a local trip from home! One of the best cache hiders, so awesome to see them expanding to my local area! This was a fun little climb in the dark without torches. DSD had a great idea of parking his car diagonal on the road however and using his headlights to illuminate the tree, which worked quite well! Soon managed to spot the container and signed the log! Thanks for the fun Smile---DSD mentioned that he was planning to grab some new letterbox caches up near Goulburn sometime "before sunrise".I couldn't let him go alone, but didn't finish work until 11:15pm! I always have plenty of energy after late night shifts however, so agreed to a spontaneous night time adventure! We left Canberra at 11:40pm and didn't return until 3:30am! We managed to get 12 caches in total though, as we decided to find the rest of the caches along the same trail as the ones that had come out! Three of these had blank logs, and two we were beaten by a Goulburn local! Oh, and to make things even more interesting we BOTH forgot to bring a torch...! So the whole expedition was done by phone light! Thanks my_name_jeff_1!

Cache 10927 on 28 Jan 2024. TikvaNZ, ZQX and I had already planned to grab a couple of caches in this series early this morning and so were pleasantly surprised to see a couple more of the series published last evening! We did not change plans, just headed out as planned. All the LBHs were quickly solved. I scored 6 caches for the morning and back home in time for a late breakfast! Quick spot, retrieve, sign and return by ZQX! Thanks Samuel737 for the cache and the fun!

Woo Hoo !! Joint *FTF* with minniek at 10:05. More to follow.34,108. First to Finds 2 days in a row - looks like 2024 is going to be a great year !After spending a few hours in this region yesterday with some great caching friends, and grabbing 2 First to Finds, it was funny to wake up this morning to see a new Trad out along this road. After some rather frantic calculations, minniek and I jumped into the larger of the 2 GeoMobiles and headed off to GZ. Soon spotted the target, and I erected the TOTT for the simple climb up and retrieved the cache. Stamped the empty log, replaced the cache (one -handed !), then packed it back up and headed home again. Thanks Samuel737 !! Oh the taste of beating fellow Cachers to the prize by about an hour was indeed sweet.

Found with Domsky, barb2e and SmittenGranny on a spontaneous caching trip. We only just missed FTF. Lots of grasshoppers around and we were greeted by the trilling call of a Treecreeper. TFTC *Found with [Geooh GO](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mobiltal.geoohGO)*

27-Jan-24
I had an absolutely fabulous day thanks to Domskys, who even picked me up from home to go after some very challenging Challenge caches. We were joined by barb2e and Isopeda for a pretty full-on day. Although originally the aim had been the challenge caches, we were soon tempted to change plans and try to get a FTF. That didn't quite work out, but 2nd TF is not to be sneezed at. We then continued on, grabbing a handful of various caches that seemed to get in our way. But then, who's complaining? ?? Domskys did the honours here, and we're all very grateful for her climbing capabilities. TFTC it was found quickly, and the log was signed.

A spontaneous catch up and a drive with Smittengranny, Barbe2e and Isopeda. It was a great day to be out, and we had some good laughs and adventures along the way. As we drew closer to GZ, we could definitely see why this cache has its name. A lovely Hide, with some spectacular views of the nearby infrastructure from the wind farms. In the right light, it would really look like a flicker! Plenty of beautiful countryside, here, and the cows were watching us in the distance as we signed the log. Thanks Team737Domsky
