Logs
Looked and looked. Messaged a previous finder and think this one may be gone.
I've been up to this area a couple of times recently, but for whatever reasons didn't call in here. As we were fairly early this morning, it seemed like a good idea to call in whilst it might be quiet. What a cool bridge, although I am confused why anybody would think about taking their horse across it, but obviously somebody has! After reading the description we initially started looking in the wrong place, but when I took a step back to read through some logs I looked up and spotted the cache. Cool camo, it would easily fool all the muggles around here.
After a break for lunch at Kowhai Park in Warkworth we headed out towards Omaha, with a stop in Matakana to add a few more caches to our finds. We have not been to this location before and enjoyed our brief visit today. We made our way to GZ and began looking for the cache, which was soon spotted. Thanks.
I didn't go for an explore in this area today as I was after cache numbers. I did like the driftwood horse. I have seen quite a few sculptures made like this over the last few years while out geocaching. They are very cleverly done. Lots of people around today but fortunately none on the bridge. I peered over but didn't manage to spot Bluey the eel. It took a few walks back and forth before I spied the hide. Nicely done. Thanks for another different hide
I never knew all this was here and I'm glad we hadn't come at market time. Loving the vibe here and this was another Mr TW find, he is on form today. Thanks for all your creative caches we found today.
**21,555**It was dark by the time we reached this cache, although there still seemed to have a flow of muggles in and out of the carpark area. Mr Geckoh managed to locate the cache by torchlight without drawing any attention to himself. We mush come back again to truly enjoy the clever sculptures etc. TFTC
Have been here a few times in the past but just not in this part. Got here early while nobody was around & made a nice quick find. Well camoed. [TFTC]
Out with the Westie ladies on a sunny Autumnal day on a caching adventureA nice quick find here of the cache which was just within our reach. TFTC This is a cool place to visit and one we havent visited before. Will have to come back with the family.
This was a clever cache - the grandkids were attending a birthday party here - looks like a good place for a birthday party.TFTC
Glad I was with a tall person for this one. What a cool place this is, there was so much going on today with a kids birthday party and pony rides. I really enjoyed my wander around here checking out the sculptures, I loved the horse one made of driftwood.
First time visiting here. What a great place. Getting this cache was a bonus. Tftc
As was at Sculptorium had to find this one. Was there with handyandyman. Took a little while and we were all a little hungry so had to be quick. So dates on paper are a bit out! And pen works better. For the vertically challenged a stretch is needed. Great little caeche, thanks.
Clever little geocache. Took a bit of careful looking to find it. Needed to hurry as we didn't want to keep the girls waiting.
Heading up to Point Wells....via 3 newish Jarstrat geocaches!!!What a treat! This one was a bit different....but should be safe from non geocachers .Uh oh....after the find, I got sidetracked in the Gift Shop.I am sure some of my grandkids would love the Ninja Course!Didn't spot Old Blue Eyes today....Have another favourite Point.
We went for a dive at Matheson Bay and were very happy with a FTF here. FP for location, seems like a wedding is taking place here today. Beautiful place!
