Don't think I've ever been to this part of Sydney before. Nice spot for an event and nice to meet the visitors! Thanks TEMBO for the event!
I am delighted that so many geocachers accepted our invitation. After an intensive exchange of experiences, we all disappeared in all possible directions much later than planned. Your TEMBO!
Thanks for hosting this event today Tembo! ... it was great to hear about caching in Germany from you and Filser1, and also to chat with the 7 or 8 other locals who came along. It was a fun way to celebrate my geo-versary, made even better by the 2 or 3 quality caches I found on the way here ... it's not often you can say you had 3 top notch finds today.A couple of photos of the view I had from the Harbour Bridge today are attached ... feel free to add them to your collection if you want.
Great event with a group of geocachers who came arround to chat with us. Thanks to ALL!Thanks to TEMBO! for hiding and maintaining the cache.T4TC Filser1
Now how lucky was that, the Caching Gods must have been smiling on us as the severe storm which came through Sydney this afternoon missed the city with barely a sprinkle of rain.Arriving early was a great idea as it meant there was much more time to chat with the COs about their travels and caching. Glad you have enjoyed your time here and found some excellent caches, and climbed the Bridge!Safe travels for the rest of your trip.TFTE # 5809
Thanks fo the Event. Great to have the chance to chat and hear about your trip.Hope the information I messaged was a help.Visited trackables.
Attended, thanks for the event, nice to meet you both, enjoy the rest of your trip in Australia .
Thanks for organising this afternoon meet'n'greet. Nice to meet you Tembo! and Filser1. We were lucky the big storm passed out to sea and didn't dump rain and hail on the city. I hope you continue to enjoy your holiday here in Sydney and then up to Brisbane. TFTE TEMBO!
Another fantastic event. Always enjoyable to hear the journeys of travelling geocachers. Also learnt about GCA and Evs recent perilous expeditions! Safe onward travels Tembo! and Filser1. Thanks for organising this event, and what a great location
#13417 17:30Thanks for hosting the event. We were lucky we did not get hit by the storm.Nice talking to visitors and the usual, familiar geocache faces.TFTE and enjoy your travels to Brisbane.
I just realised that this event will be held on my 10th geo-anniversary so I guess I should mark this milestone with a smiley ... so, all being well, I'll be there ready to party.
I will try to attend your Event. Meet you in the centre of the water feature (nowhere near the redevelopment zone). Darling Harbour is very nice in the evening. There are shops nearby, incl. Coffee, Bar, food, icecream, etc.

If that's the Hard Rock Cafe inside Harbourside Shopping mall, the whole area is under redevelopment. This is a construction site. There is nothing there.
The entire area around where you have chosen is a construction site. The redevelopment and building on the left side of Darling Harbour will not be completed until mid to late and 2026. The area is not expected to be open to the public until 2027. You need to choose another location for your event.
Darling Harbour Water Spiral 50m South (S 033 52.388' E 151 11.989') would make a nice alternative meeting point, however no cafe.
