An impromptu train trip brought me north to this transport interchange this morning. It wasn't what I'd planned for the day, but when you're "living life at leisure", does it matter? Thanks to the helpful hint, this cache proved to be a straightforward find, even though I couldn't rely on my GPS signal here. Now, onto the light rail for the next cache along the line. Thanks for placing this cache for our enjoyment, LucilleBluth, and all the best for your upcoming celebration.
Again, able to quickly nip to this one after my evening antenatal class up at the community health centre - still dry, well hidden where it is supposed to be. HOWEVER, the pencil in here needs a good sharpen and I was focused more on other things tonight will try to get to that next time or alternatively, be sure to BYO pen for now. Thanks everyone for continuing to find and re-hide this cache
Immediate find. GZ was a bit off among tall buildings but was still close to the cache as described.
Found today - thanks for placing this cache here. It was interesting to see the old Store site again.
TFTC and bringing me here to reminisce about shopping at the store. I spent a little of money in that store over the years. Love the benches.
Embarrassed to say its taken me this long to spot a cache right next to my office?! Nice easy find. Special shout out to Chucktanoy who busted me with the log at GZ. Nice to meet you!
TFTC! 13 September 2024 9:28:17PM 8428 thanks to LucilleBluth for the cache! Very quiet tonight so made a quick find!
My first geocache to start my day exploring Newcastle and it was a quick findAnd a good start before I head off to walk along the honeysuckle boardwalk in a nice spring summer sunshine This could be a sidetracked geocache as it is very close also to the train line and the tram lineI wonder if Newcastle participates in the sidetracked Geo series they are a bit of fun for travellers
After misreading the extremely helpful hint - it was an easy and nice find! Pencil does need a sharpen though. Looking forward to walking the light rail to find the other 4!
Found this great find early in the morning while at work. Found with a friend. Hopefully a nice introduction to geocaching for him.
Today is all about cache maintenance checked up on this one, cache still dry, log still has lots of room, pencil still present and useable. Thanks all for finding my cache and for replacing/caring for it
A quick find not far from where I am staying for a short time in Newcastle. Freezing cold and blowing a gale! Thanks for the cache.
Thanks for this cache. I wanted to leave since it was cold but polkadot444444 kept going and found it
Quick walk from the local supermarket while Mrs Froggycache went shopping, geosons Rednight2000 and Opitcache3000 and I looked for this. Opticache found it quickly.TFTC LucilleBluth
Found and all good this a late log because Larry time I log it turned into a but I want a smiley I occasionally go into the office which is the store so next time Im there I can sign again.
There were very few people around today with rail problems and I made my way to GZ with a GPS that took me everywhere at first. The cache was found and logged then we hopped in the tram to go back to our car. Thanks for a good suburban hide.
Pleased to say that it was the first place I surreptitiously felt. Ive never been here before either! TFTC
Cache replaced, some waterproofing measures in place and new pencil added. Please continue to replace this cache in the same place. Thanks all.
Temporarily disabled due to maintenance, wet weather has recently damaged some of my logs. Hoping to replace Monday 10 June
We found it! Thank you quick find I picked where I thought it would be. There was no pencil so we couldnt fill the log thanks Team AEA. Found by big A
Pretty deserted at GZ thankfully. Lots of train staff reviewing a screen in their little office. I briefly wondered if they were reviewing a tape of a scruffy looking lady in a pink hoodie looking suspicious but they were just looking at a form. Hmmm.Thankyou for placing and maintaining the cache series and allowing me to discover a new area.TFTCGeneric overly-detailed summation of the day:Weather report: sunny and clearCaching conditions: muggles at the beach but only got muggles out of one cache, GPS satellites talking nicely to my phoneSnack situation: decent: got an aai cup and a can of sugar free v. I did not eat my apples. Maybe tomorrow?Public toilet status: Plenty of them, bar beach has the unfortunate paper squares that feel more like printer paper than toilet tissue.Munzee distractions: none today, probably because I had so many caches up in the air.Weirdos encountered: none, thankfully!("`-''-/").___..--''"`-._ `6_ 6 ) `-. I was up in Newcastle today for some caching and, with half an hour to kill before my train home, decided to have a really good look for this. I'd almost given up when I spotted something that looked promising and, after a bit more searching, I finally had the cache in hand. Many thanks for the hide and the series.
Nice cache at the Interchange. Also thanks for the shout out! OCW MaxAdventurer. TFTC LucilleBluth
Thanks Terry for the Find! Whilst we waited in the car as we were parked in a spot we shouldn't have been
This was at the end of bunadoorian's and my walk this morning. We walked past someone asleep on the next bench so was pleased to find no one here. I quickly found the cache. TFTC and for showing us this interesting building - LucilleBluth.
Luckily the area we needed to search was not being slept on by the homeless person. But a quick find for Grub62 and we can now have a look around at this interesting place. Thanks for bringing us here and TFTC.
Good timing. Nobody around. Thanks LucilleBluth for placing Interchange! #1075GCAJWV9
Find No: 9205. Found with my brother from Nevada USA, thanks for the cache LucilleBluth!!
I did this little series today, though i did thi sone last, as i still dont know how to get into the carpark. I parked near the next one, DNF'd it, then walked to the beach, finding them as i went. Rode the tram back to here, and had to wait till a muggle moved himself from the search area. I think i wrote 9/3/24 all day today. Living in the past. TFTC.
Mr Minion and I were glad of a quick find here as we just got notification of an FTF nearby so rushed from here to grab that. Thanks for the cache LucilleBluth tnln replaced as found sl
GPS was crazy so thanks for the hint! Easy find once looking in the right area
Thank you to those who discovered that there was an issue with my initial coordinates - after a check I have now updated them
We parked nearby and made our way to GZ. Looking at some previous logs, we knew the cords were off. Rested at an obvious spot and let the gps settle and went with our gut. Cache in hand. Log signed. Stealthy moves are required in this busy area. TFTC.

My 4th cache today for leap day! Originally I thought starting with this cache but a muggle was sitting at GZ so I did others before instead. TFTC and series!
Quick find thanks to Team737s coords and the hint. Nice hide. Lots of people around but I don't think they noticed me too much with the heat today. TFTC!!! #2269
