This morning I had a few hours before being committed to help with a market so I wandered off for breakfast and a few caches. Found some very good caches and all caches were in good condition. This clears this area for me except a couple that a kayak is needed and a couple that had dnfs. Tftc
A quick find but was nearly spung by two dog walking muggles. Had to pretend to show great interest in the nearby sign as they slowly walked through the park. One dog looked very old but boy were they super slow!!Noticed a couple of tents nearby so wondered if there are some homeless living in this park.Thanks.
LAST CACHE OF THE DAY!Thanks for the CacheFind#173Search/SL Time=4M/17:45Today Found/DNF=13/2
Has to look quite dark as it was pitch black when we found it but was a fun find
After a muggle walking a dog passed by I was able to make a quick find. Thank you for placing and maintaining this cache.
Today we further explored our back yard and finding caches along the way, and this was one of them.We concentrated on finding the caches that has been published since our last visit. We found a variety of hides with varying degrees of difficulty. Many thanks to the CO for your cache placement.
Once settled into my accommodation in Prospect right next to an IGA [^] I had a bevvy back at my room then set out on foot to grab a couple more hides. This one was first up. At the spot that would have bees when in flower (going on past logs) thankfully for me today, was devoid of both, especially the former. (Bees and Jump Jackers don't bother me really even though they both sting. The old Jack Jumper lives to sting another day and they only leave me with an annoying itch that's off-the-chain!)After a bit of a hunt with my head in the leaves i spotted a colour that wasn't natural and was quickly signing the log at 16:13 on Thursday the 11th of April 2024.The cache and contents are fine and dry.TFTC Ben Filleul
Being Easter Monday, there were no muggles around, and no for that matter either .I imagine when the flowers are in bloom there are a lot more bees there.
This was our second cache hunt whilst on a shopping trip to Launceston this morning. On arrival, the area was free of muggles. Accurate coordinates and the hint led to a quick find. The cache and contents were in good condition. However the hide location was very attractive to bees - take care at this location. Thanks Rahvin2007 for the cache.
