Logs
Took a different route for my walk this morning and ended up stumbling across this cache scattered on the ground. Log was wet. Made safe and replaced log. Notified CO. TFTC.
Check every support from 21 through to 24 with no luck. Might be worth CO checking.
TFTC. Found the cache in parts on the ground. Must have only recently happened as the logbook was dry. I reassembled and placed as per a previous log. Tucked away so hopefully no wind will blow it away.
A trip to Launceston for work on Friday and then a days caching on Saturday before returning to Hobart. The weather was acceptable for a days caching and after an early start I had a good day. Thank you Ben_Filleul for hiding and maintaining this cache. Found on 14 September 2024 at 10:56AM. Thanks for the cache
We are currently staying in Bishopsbourne and on the hunt for caches to begin our march to our next major milestone before we leave Tasmania. We headed to Hadspen to find a few caches and enjoy a nice country drive.Luckily we had our ladder on board, I did get absolutely filthy though as I leant on the concrete. oops now my rain coat is revolting, wash job for tomorrow.TFTC
You need at least a 6ft ladder, and it is east bound, then left and right. The cache is the second one (C), and on the left side, a taswater cone fell from on the side of the bridge towards the dog park it scared the crap out of us, so we put it on the opposite side. Thanks for the Cache INFORMATIONSearch (EST)/SL Time: 3M/13:45TODAY FINDS/DNF:1/0SWAG INFORMATION Contains SWAG:Left SWAG: Took SWAG: Finder Note: All SYSTEMS GO ON THIS CACHE!
We went up to check out the area after an hour of finding the recent Killian Jones cache series. We will be back with a ladder!
Today we further explored our back yard finding caches along the way, and this was one of them.We concentrated on finding the caches that have been published since our last visit. With the correct TOTT I made a qick find at GZ.We found a variety of hides with varying degrees of difficulty. Many thanks to the CO for your cache placement.
No ladder with me today, I assume my cache is still on the middle under the bridge too
TFTC. A team effort with dantheman470 and katie1376. Agree with 2ystassies comments on the co-ordinates. Look closer to the graffitti.
We took thevopportunity if a shopping trip to Launceston to look fir some if the recently published caches. This was the first one. After a quick foray to GZ, we returned to the car to get our 3.8m ladder. On the third deployment of this elevation device, we located the cache about 5m from the published coordinates - quite good really given the location of the hide. The cache and contents were in good condition. We assumed that the four names in the logbook were the joint placers of the cache as there were no recognisable caching names nor the date. So we will claim {FTF} at 9:55. Thanks Rahvin2007 for the cache. Good to get this one off out "to do" list.
