30-May-24
Arrived just as a downpour started and enjoyed the shelter. But there was a council car parked close and then I realised someone was inside it. I made myself comfortable while I waited for them to leave or the rain to ease to move on to the next one, with my back to the car. I quickly noticed that I could reach the cache without being seen log signed and cache returned as found. Tftc on this rainy day Smile

Had a cracker of a time out on the geocaching trail with the Cockburn Crew after kicking things off at the event in Northbridge by Barnzy12 at Old Shanghai Food Court. Gridge98 joined the adventure, and let me tell ya, it was a real ripper of a night, though not the most successful in terms of finds. We hit the road, heading north through suburbs on the eastern side of the Mitchell Freeway. From Clarkson to Banksia Grove, we covered some ground, but unfortunately, it was a bit of a DNF fest for us. You know how it goes sometimes the caches play hard to get.Despite the lack of finds, the camaraderie was spot on. There's something special about cruising around with fellow cachers, sharing stories and the occasional chuckle over our search attempts. It's not always about the finds; it's about the journey and the mateship. We capped off the night in Leederville, where we had initially merged our cars. It was a fitting end to the adventure, swapping tales of the night's escapades. Even though the caches might've eluded us, the memories and laughs made it a top-notch geocaching experience.Big shoutout to Barnzy12 for hosting the event and bringing us all together. Despite the DNFs, it was a ripper night out with the Cockburn Crew and Gridge98. Cheers for the good times, and here's to the next adventure!

A quick find here this evening, cache is all goodAfter an event in Northbridge this evening, I headed out with the Cockburn Crew (Leg5, Barnzy12, Lachlan1.77 and cravo10). Most of the logs were signed as CC or Cockburn Crew. We had almost as many DNFs tonight as finds sadly otherwise a fun adventure around the northern subrubs. Thanks for the cache

22-Feb-24
Out and about with the Cockburn Crew and Gridge98 for a run through the northern suburbs.

22-Feb-24
Out and about again, catching up on some new caches that have been placed recently - after an event in Northbridge headed NOR with the Cockburn Crew. Tonight Gridge98 joined us, a bit squashy on the back seat, and a midnight finish - then headed home.Had a slow start with a few dnfs, and searched for a couple and they were on the ground or not in a tree (fishing cache). Maybe Gridge will join us again - if we havent scared him off too much.Found a variety of hides and in different areas which made for a nice day. Generally quick finds today. Thanks to DAK03 for the caches we found.********** ********** ********** ********** ********** **********OZMEGA2024 OZMEGA2024 OZMEGA2024 OZMEGA2024 OZMEGA2024 OZMEGA2024********** ********** ********** ********** ********** **********Head over to Australian Capital Territory for Capital GeoBash MEGA - Canberras first ever Mega Event. **FTF** Was driving home when this pinged off... and knowing I'd be driving along K-Road I figured I'd divert off to have a look on the way past. Obviously very quiet around here at night so was able to walk right up and make a fast find. Happy to find a blank log too Smile Moon is big and bright but thankfully no crazies seen. Quick sign and then back in the car though just in case Wink Unusual little container, thought I might need a TOTT from the car but then it popped open. No problems here - TFTC
