The hunt continues with ilook4geo with the emphasis again today being on finding letterbox caches. This letterbox was found safe and sound and both names were marked on the log. Thank you to my_name_jeff_1 for this cache placement.

While staying around this area(ish) with goingplaces2 we spent some time finding lots of letterbox caches. This was one of the ones successfully found and signed. TFTC.

Driving past today, heading back home along the M31 after one of our regular trips visiting family in Violet Town (VIC). Today eldest geokid is at the wheel, adding about 10hrs to his logbook. Means we are only going 90kmh all the way to the central coast lol BUT that I can flick thru Cachly and hone in on some low-hanging fruit and, as a bonus, give us all some regular breaks in interesting places rather than the usual roadside dives. This cache also gave youngest geokid the opportunity to climb an awesome tree at GZ. TFTLBH and awesome climb, my_name_jeff_1.#2036

Reperio 20:05Day 1 of our NSW south eastern caching tour, and Master Vitruvius and I arrived late to our first destination, but were able to tick off mostly a few new letterbox caches. I have to say that I was very pleased to be able to solve all but one of this series. That one, I had to seek some assistance. I decided to have a look at them when I knew that we would be in the general area of a number of them.Those that we looked for, were all found in good condition and with great coords.Thank you for adding to this fun addiction of ours.

GT37 and I had a great week of caching with Team Crackers and The Drovers in and around the Bathurst area. On the way back, we decided to do some more of the numerous caches around this area. We attempted mainly caches that we had solved although we did do some others after taking the wrong road.GT37 solved these a couple of nights ago so we looked for, and found, any that we came across. Coords were great and all finds in good condition. Thanks for placing this series for all to enjoy

It's not often I get the opportunity to get to a GGGT, so when I was free to actually get up the highway to get there, #94 and #95 just happen to be my first. Better late than never! With KittyKatch, Contesta, LuckyL10n and Albida, we set off in the afternoon with some letterbox caching along the way. The afternoon of caches went very quickly, and a 'one last cache' that had us the wrong side of the tracks, or the right side really for the barriers to stop us and wait for the train to pass and keep passing... it was a longer train than expected, and a bit of fun watching it wondering when it would even end! We arrived at the CITO to be greeted by a very large group. Where it was good to catch up, although not too cold, it was nice to head inside into the warmth. It was a great evening of good company and conversation - and the lamb cutlets were definitely as good as I have been hearing about! I'm glad I've finally managed to get there and looking forward to trying to get back to another. Thanks for the cache!

#19549 - 5:53:00 PM; Received an invitation to join albida33 for a caching run to Goulburn to attend a CITO and a catchup event for tea with our newlywed cachers afterwards. The plan was to collect some newer LBH caches which were not far from the major roads to our destination, along with a couple of others along the same stretch. We were joined by Kittykatch who performed driving duties with Contesta and Aquilus1 following behind. All up we managed 11 caches prior to the two events once we reached Goulburn. All were found in good condition and returned as found after the logs were signed. TFTC my_name_jeff_1

With lots of amazing events and activities over the past two months, it has been quite some time since an afternoon outing to Goulburn for dinner. This situation was rectified today and plans were made for some late afternoon caching before joining in for the pre-dinner CITO in Belmore Pk. I joined Kitty Katch, Aquillus, Contesta and LuckyL10n to tackle the newish series of Elementary puzzles, west of Goulburn. We had no trouble finding them, even if some of them had creeped from there advertised locations. As we went for the required just one more, not only had it become dark, but we had to wait for a train to get back on the highway, all very exciting. My family and I headed down from Brisbane to Canberra to spend the Easter break visiting relatives living here. The lure of a Mega event in town at the same time was just a coincidence, honestly .After an enjoyable stay, sadly today was the day I had to commence the long drive home. With rain falling as I departed and an extreme wet weather event forecast further north I was apprehensive as I started the drive and my relations were urging me to stay another day to avoid the predicted heavy rain. As a result I was fairly sure I wasn't going to get any caching done today and intended just cautiously making my way north as far as I safely could.I was not far out of Canberra when the rain had all but ceased, so I continued to take advantage of the favourable conditions, while I could, and stopped to find this cache.For some reason I had in my head that this was a tree fishing cache and came armed with my pole. It was only as I walked towards GZ that I noticed a suspicious looking camouflage in another place, and realised I could sign the logbook without it. TFTC

Find#1918Found today on our way down to Goulburn. Me and Shaneo58 are down here to work on some challenge caches near home in the Hunter valley. After arriving here about 8pm we snuck off to find this letterbox cache. We solved this before we came down and made a simple find at GZ. Up early tomorrow for more caches in Goulburn and then off to Canberra. Log and cache in good condition TFTC

Finalf29 and I came for a wedding and stayed for a wonderful Mega.Solved all these puzzle series during a recent puzzle solving event night. We found on the way home from the Mega. Nice spot to stretch our legs... love these old gumtrees. Thanks

Geobash Easter Mega - Day #3 (Easter Saturday 30/3)Day three saw me head up the Federal Hwy towards Goulburn for a family reunion. I was asked to be there for at least a little while. So I left early and soon enough I found myself finding some solved WIGs and Letterboxs as well as others to and from Canberra. It was a great trip. Though I was pushing it time wise to get back in time for the big event [GCAKTHC]. I ended up getting back around 2:15pm-ish and that means I was just in time for the big event. That was certainly my first ever Geocaching Wedding attended. Congratulations Fitzy & Minniek. Afterwards A group of us went and found some nearby caches. Most of them were DSD multi-caches. Then it was time to head off and get some dinner and then back to the motel for some sleep. TB visit. If the cache wasnt signed as JohnoMawbs, it was signed as JM or as the tour group name. A big thanks to the CO for adding this cache to game for the Geocaching community to enjoy. TFTEs & TFTCs After finding the WIG trail which finished in Breadalbane, I headed off to find a couple of Letterbox caches. This was one of them. I solved this one a couple of weeks ago and today as I passed by I went to collect it. A nice quick find at GZ and soon it was signed and replaced. Now off to the next one. Thanks once again.

A weekend of caching, labing, laughter, fun, and adventure with my great mates The Rats and Steeba. Just want I needed! A weekend like this is good for the soul.We headed from Wollongong to the Canberra Mega, via many caches and Labs along the way. We had a 48 hour early Easter window of opportunity that we needed to exploit!As always the banter was excellent, and the caching secondary to that. DSD mentioned that he was planning to grab some new letterbox caches up near Goulburn sometime "before sunrise".I couldn't let him go alone, but didn't finish work until 11:15pm! I always have plenty of energy after late night shifts however, so agreed to a spontaneous night time adventure!We left Canberra at 11:40pm and didn't return until 3:30am! We managed to get 12 caches in total though, as we decided to find the rest of the caches along the same trail as the ones that had come out! Three of these had blank logs, and two we were beaten by a Goulburn local! Oh, and to make things even more interesting we BOTH forgot to bring a torch...! So the whole expedition was done by phone light!Thanks my_name_jeff_1!
