Logs
The telephone number was sorted, and, because of the direction we were travelling, we needed to turn around and head back up to GZ. A quick find at GZ and added to the log here. Onwards once again. Thanks Team737Domsky
We came up to Newie again this week for about the third weekend in the last four, this time to attend the [HAVOC Flotilla](https://coord.info/GCAZBVQ) event on the Newcastle harbour which was fun. We decided we might set sail up Cockle Creek after the event which was, obviously, a great idea on a day like this! Today the new pilot in the family was piloting [the vessel](https://coord.info/TB9QQJD) while I was doing all the navigating and grabbing. Nice to have a different cache type, and early in the run to break things up a little. Numbers noted at the posted where we quickly got a location which sent us to yet another cache in excellent condition with nice dry log. TFTC and series, team737.#2062
I have been wanting to this kayak cache series since it first got published. But my sister who lives so close at Teralba no longer has kayaks, so I had to bring one up from Sydney. Glad I did as it was a really nice paddle from the mouth of Cockle Creek on Lake Mac up to the weir, finding and signing 15 caches along the way, then paddling back down. Nice variety here, making it a Multi, with info obtained while paddling. TFTC lee737
Nice easy multi to change the finds, GeoIan worked out the numbers and off we went to GZ. Found it! TFTC
possibly my first multi on the water. nice 2 stage. not easy to park at some of these. TFTC
#7677Ventured north with [@Purplepeopleater](https://coord.info/PR4X0DC) and [@bella at waggy](https://coord.info/PR5DQ4Z) lured by the Cockle Creek series. Met up at the carpark and organised our car shuffle before hitting the water just before 9am with 2 yaks and a SUP. We usually make a meal out of multis but this one came together nicely.TFTC lee737
An excellent morning with Crash and B@W paddling this marvellously reclaimed creek. All containers were in excellent condition.SL TFTC
Back again to complete this section of the water way. Another nice paddle with little wind. A few took a little longer to spot than others but a good outing on the paddle board. Glad the multi final was not in another section. We completed the signing duties and re hid. TFTC
Found on 28/4 with Mighty Minions & 2pods. 2pods went ahead to gather the information, then we met to discover the cache. A beautiful day and the model sailboats were stunning to watch.
Out caching with 2pods and Goldberry17 today. the weather was brilliant, and the water was very smooth. we had lots of laughs, and I really enjoyed the day. the caches were all found with no problems and in good condition. Thanks for the cache lee737 tnln replaced as found sl
A good variant for the series - which we began near #12 (qv). This would not be easy without a water craft! As we were proceeding downstream, we headed down for the info while Mighty Minions and Goldberry17 finished up the previous cache, skirting the model yachts racing (it was Sunday), and we met up at the final GZ. TFTC!
I immediately spotted the sign with the red writing as I approached WP1, and had come prepared with a piece of card on which I could write the phone number and do the sums for the coordinates. Plugging them into the GPSr, I was pleased to see that they were on the edge of the creek and upstream between me and #4, and not either kilometres inland or out in the middle of the lake, so it was back to paddling. With no hint on this one, I was hoping it would be reasonably easy to spot and indeed it was. Many thanks for the hide and the series.
This cache was found today and brings our overall cache find tally to 13181.A day of paddling with Deni_f and Banj on Cockle Creek this morning. With the tide due to hit high at 8am we made an early start at 7. With two kayaks and one stand up paddle board we covered 11.7km in 3hours 59 minutes. Another great cache in the series, found without issue. I love the effort youve gone to with these containers. Thanks lee737 for the cache.
Find#1875After these caches were published I was very keen to get them with all of the different DT ratings. After Banj asked me, Today was the day. Came out with Big Matt also and had an absolutely glorious day finding these caches. I wish I had 15 favourite points as this was such a fun series to do. Matt had calculated that we paddled a little over 11km and a bit over 4hrs in total at a very casual pace Ill add. Thanks for a great series Team 737. Log and cache in good condition. TFTC
A great day to be out on the water finding some geocaches. Joined today by Big Matt on a SUP and Deni F in a kayak that an extremely nice bloke borrowed for him to use.We got the information and the coordinates for this multi, and found it on our way back to the boat ramp. TFTC
So excited to have my first ever 5 T! Great use of the environment around to make it simple multi. Number 3 with SLElliott. TFTC
Find No: 9182. Out for a great morning with Yella Belly & shaneo58 , thanks for the cache Team737!!
Out today with Yella Belly and Grub Fred in the SS yellabelly2 finishing off the Cockle Creek series. This cachexgets a favorite as it fills another hole in my D/T matrix. TFTC TEAM737
Launched the old "Yella Belly" today and as I am the Captain I picked up an unlikely crew in shanoe58 as Retriever of caches and Grub Fred as passenger (and secretary) to do the Cockle Creek caches. Well it was a fun trip up the river with nobody falling overboard. caches were well hidden but with keen eyes they were found. Thanks Team737 for the series.
Logging this FTF while still out on the water.8:45 on a beautiful (not!) Saturday morning.Hey, I was already wet, so why not go out for a paddle. A nice little offset. TFTH!
