Mini McArgister was locked in an escape room for her birthday, so I popped out for a few geocaches. Think I found the right spot, but nothing that I could spot or feel here.
Back in the area this morning and there was a dog themed market on near gz. Lucky we were there before 10.30am as there were going to be dog races right next to gz. Another search in another hollow and this time we located the cache. Thanks for the cache and nice to turn our frown upside down.
LOTS of hunting for this one, we think we found the stinky hollow it WAS in, but turns out we were barking up the wrong hollow lol
Out and about in Takapuna today. Perfect temperature for geocaching, not too hot, not too cold, just right. But what is that? Nobody signed the log, yet? Was this cache maybe just published and I am first to find? Nooo, just owner maintenance... Oh well. Nice quick fnd anyway and off I went to the next one. Thanks for hiding and maintaining. Tftc
Yes apologies for the yucky situation. I went past today & checked it out. Ollie & I will be back this weekend to attend and rectify the situation. Thank you for your patience xx
This hollow was full of water and as last finder says quite smelly. It needed nimble fingers. I was glad of the water tap right beside it. TFTC
At the moment retrieving this cache is a rather disgusting experience. GZ is full of black smelly water, and it took me several goes to grab it (once started I wasnt going to give up, was I?) Fortunately there is water nearby, but the smell sticks to you. So.bring some TOTT if you want an easier retrieval. Thanks for this one- I think!
On the way North for our sons wedding and a couple of stops to stretch legs, eat etc. Had lunch in Takapuna and chance for a couple of finds.Nice easy find, a recent image helped. Wet in the hollow, replaced as found
Really fun to find! It just sooo wet and muddy to take it out. And full of bugs inside the hole.
Finding the cache was easy..... getting it out was a challenge !! In Auckland for a couple of nights. Doing some night caching tonight.Thank you The_2_Pease for placing this cache.Log signed as B&PFind number 5212
Quick find for a dot day and even better a day off work. Weather was quite nice for this time of the year as well. Location fairly quiet due to time of day and being cold. Log is wet. Found a cache now time for some shopping. thanks for the cache.
an easy find for my 1st. unfortunately i dont have pen with me. ill comeback tomorrow. hehe. thank you
Nice and warm to eat nearby and find the cache while at it. Cool hide, although a bit hard to retrieve. TFTC!!
I parked up illegally while Di had a look about , then the cache was spotted Many thanks
Parking was tricky here so I jumped out of the car while the driver tried to find a park. It didnt take too long to find the cache though it was a bit higher than my chest height! Just as well I had small fingers too as it was tricky to extract and the hollow was full of water but the log was nice and dry
Started the morning at the ANZAC service and saw this cache nearby. Easy find but I'm a shortie so like others say it was not my chest height. TFTC
#811 Looked high, looked low, oh hollow! Had to use a stick to fish this cache out of a pocket of water but thankfully the contents were still dry.
Had some time to spare before heading home, so went for this one, being a new one for me. I haven't been in the area for a long time. All is well. No muggles, and it is camoed reasonably well. Ng mihi, TFTC
Usually a very busy place but not today. Notva soul in sight. Found it quickly but had to do a few finger manouvres to extract. [TFTC]
GPS bounced around a bit but once we were in GZ, the cache was was immediately in hand. No pen, photo attached.TFTC!
We were heading home from the office when I realised that the carpark here was pretty empty and there was only one family in the playground area, so had a sneak in. The gps was playing up a bit, I blame the weather and lack of chocolate eggs today, but I could see an interesting place to hide a cache. A quick look and saw something, and then almost got my fingers stuck trying to extract the cache.
Out with Team Welsh enjoying another Sunday morning caching adventure. Possibly not the best time to look for this cache with the Sunday Market going on around us, but surprisingly few people near GZ. TW soon spotted the hollow and had the cache in hand. Thanks.
This was a bit tricky while the markets were on but we managed to make the extraction without being noticed. Tftc
Very cheeky spot. The boys helped out with this one! Thank you for the Cache
Wow things have changed here. Must look nice in the evening. Little fingers definitely help here. Tftc
Came here a couple of weeks ago but it was a Sunday morning and the market was in full swing so impossible to go unnoticed. Today there was thankfully no one at GZ so it was a quick grab. Cache in a perfect nook. Tftc
Today we had lunch in Takapuna before doing some errands nearby. On my way to the car I discovered the cache easily but getting it in my hands was trickier than expected. The hubbie gave a helping hand and logged the cache. Tftc
I was in Takapuna this afternoon for a choir rehearsal, since I'm singing in the choir that will be performing at the opening ceremony for the Auckland Arts Festival next Thursday (if you're reading this before next Thursday, you should come and watch! It'll be great! [Here is the link to the event information page!](https://www.aaf.co.nz/event/waiata-mai)). I was slightly early, so I had time to wander over in the rain to find this cache before heading into the church for the rehearsal. This was a nice easy find, but I have a suspicion the CO is much taller than me because for me it was eye height All good here though, nice and dry, thank you!(#2143)
Nicely done here!Great place here, I have been visiting here since 1955, its changed a lot over the years, thanks for an excuse to come back. Cache is all good Thanks!FP added
A nice easy find here while we wait for the last of our dinner party to join us. TFTC!
On my way home, with a stop in Takapuna and spotted this cache had been published.Headed to GZ and there was barely anyone one around, meaning I could make an easy tran sign and replace. It was in the first place I checked. Tftc #1633
While car is getting car wash at shore city, miniAG and I decided to find a couple of caches. TFTC

Out caching with Net61 today....6 newish ones on the Shore are my target, with a couple more for Jan.Thanks so much for this cache!Looking forward to more from you guys! With a title like that, I went straight to it....Extraction was left to Jan!Could have done with tweezers or maybe a magnet...especially if anyone has fat fingers....!
I had to return to this one as there were a couple of students who decided gz was the place to sit and relax. I came back as the sun was coming down and the illuminated gates make this spot pretty nice. I also dropped a nz rock in the park next door while at it. Perfect coordinates and good clue in the title of the cache. Good job Oli. TFTC
I had noted this recently published neighbourhood hide around mid morning, goodness knows how long after publication. However, I was busy doing chores including preparation for a family event we were attending around lunch time, so, I left it. After the family event the Lostcourse team drove past Potters Park but I was in a minority of one about stopping. That evening, once the Lake Road traffic and calmed down for the day I headed out, with the younger future finder, to collect some dinner. As there were still no logs on the cache page we stopped by here first. Good coordinates and a clear hint allowed me to make a super quick find, while being mindful of muggles about the place. The blank log sheet confirmed that I was, indeed, first to to find (FTF). Cheers for the cache placement!
