Stopped by today after work to grab a few caches. Headed to GZ and made a quick search! I thought I knew where to look, but still managed to miss it in the first place I looked, till the next check there was something unusual. A clever little hide. Tftc #1919
**22,036**A bit of a strain at this hour but still managed to see through Piggies lies to locate the cache. TFTC
Very smart hide, took a while, even when right on top we still didn't see it. A busy spot so had to wait for the right moment to retrieve, definitely didn't expect it to be there.
It might be raining but I'm not under any strain today. Quick find, my absolute favourite kind of cache.
Carpark not too full this morning as we stop off to grab these two caches.Had to wait a few minutes for traffic to move along. TFTC
A nice easy find on a slightly brisk winter's night, on my way home from work. There was a keyword here that gave this one away for me, and the cache was in the first place I looked. TFTC!
I followed my misguided belief that I knew where this was hidden so didnt even use my gps so ended up in the wrong place and meanwhile TWS made the find.
Out and about on Anzac Day with Master7. We followed him to gz as he had the geocaching app on the phone. Mrsjag spotted the hide immediately. With a little guidance the future finder had this well camouflaged cache in hand. Thanks G2 for the cache and smilie
After attending a nearby event this was a nice walk in the park.Great place for a San Fran. Thanks.
I drive past here on my way home from work. I stopped by one of those days recently but realised what a stupid idea that was as its such a busy corner. So being a Saturday and in the area I thought it was a good chance. Sure enough there were some decent gaps in the traffic to look for it. At first I was trying a little too hard. So I eased off the leg strain and realised it was right in front of me. A perfect place for one of your ubiquitous nifty San Fran specials. Cheers G_2.
This was next on the list to find. A bit of dodgy parking to grab this one. Very sneaky but quickly found. Thank you G-2 for placing this cache.Log signed as B&PFind number 5036
Tricky indeed but located without any problems. San Fran Special at its best!I'm logging this hide as my 10522Many thanks G_2 for a placement.
Out and about, just over the bridge, for a spot of cache detection and to run an errand, this afternoon. I parked up on Sarsfield Street and found "hole in one" to start. I then made the short walk along to this ground zero. Once where I looked in the correct spot straight away...but missed the hide; it does blend in very well. When a muggle decided to have a phone call just across the road from ground zero, staring straight at me, I decided to go for a walk around the park. On my return the muggle was gone. This time I spotted the hide straight away. I think this may be the best rendition of the San Fran hides, so far. Cheers for the cache placement!
M25 / m15: looked around for a little bit and then aha! There it was. Nice and easy, log all good and signed here. TFTC.
That will teach me for not checking the logs before going after a FTF. I saw the notifications last night but thought it was a bit too late to go out, this morning I checked my phone and still saw the FTF sign on the map so headed to it. Well done Gorby on your FTF. Nice clever new San fran look. TFTC
Was in Herne Bay already... ..so obviously I needed to get these two new G-2 offerings!Parked in Sarsfield St and wandered along.Nice easy find when you know what you are looking for! Many thanks Glyn...this should stay safe I am sure!Lovely day today...
A late night adventure for me tonight around 11pm. So I did G-2's cache at Pnt Erin pools getting a first there for my efforts, and came back here for another shot, I had been here just minutes ago and couldn't find the cache, but when I looked from the other side of the fence, I saw it straight away, how did I miss that on my first search...lol. A change of angle viewing it did the trick, the cache matches in very well here. Another {FTF} for me tonight, it was well worth popping out! Thanks G for these 2 hides, but it's late, I could have raced up to Brown's Bay, Takapuna etc, if I was with FMZ, I would have had NO choice...lol. All new caches would have been done come hell or high water regardless if sleep was needed. So off home I went, happy with my little outing, happy to leave a few for others to find. FTF#845
