Another cache to transfer from the solved list to the golden smile list. TFTC
I noticed on Friday that the Fairy Falls Track was going to be reopened quietly that afternoon, so I decided to head out there on Sunday morning to check it out. After completing Fairy Falls, I decided to take a short drive to complete this letterbox cache. Parked at WP1 and worked out where the final cache would be, took a drive back to where I had been earlier and soon had the cache in hand. The logsheet was a bit damp, but I managed to sign it. TFTC!
I solved this at home, and came out to find it on a day to satisfy a challenge down in Dunedin (ready for collecting at the Mega). I really appreciate how all of these caches have a suitable place to park when you are finding them. A quick find at GZ even though I was distracted by my favourite tree growing up through the middle of a sign.
A solo excursion for Mr Coblet.I solved this a few weeks ago after my last excursion to the Waitakeres and have been keen to come back and find it ever since. Today I had the day off work and the weather was perfect so I headed off for a morning walk and found this one on the way.A nice easy find with no one else around and another great hide in this series.TFTC.
We had noticed this new trail of caches pop up, so when Team Welsh suggested an excursion today we happily agreed. We made a plan to tackle the caches from the Swanson end, being closest to home. But when we realised there was an event up here today at 1pm we revised the plan to start and finish at the Forest Hill Rd end. Thanks for making the planning (and parking) easy by labelling the caches L and R!This one required us to do a bit of back tracking as we had made a false assumption earlier. No problems once we got ourselves sorted out. Thanks.
Another easy solve and also find thankfully as the rain doesnt seem to want to ease up
I remember solving this in minutes when this popped out, Google Earth is your friend!!! But I knew supernanny would be all over this and I wasn't wrong. She got the ftf quite quickly. like others I was little surprised with the final. I saw something underneath the log paper, but couldn't imagine it was a stamp of any sort as per letterbox caches. Anyway, a find is a find and I'm not complaining. Off shortly to the event, raining now, it's about to get heavy!! Thanks rusty for all your hides.
Actually did this one towards the end of our caching journey and we really should learn to read the cache page to save getting confused. Once we did that our way forward was clear so Mrs KC drove towards the end of the route so we could sign this one off. Thanks for all your caches along here.
M25: not sure how this is a letterbox, but nonetheless, it is a cache. Nice and easy solve, nice and easy find, log all good and signed here. TFTC.
Can't believe it !I had finally got back home after 2 rustynz FTFs , when Gorby kindly texted me to say Helen, you haven't finished....there is a new Letterbox Cache too!He knows I don't have notifications for letterbox ones.So what option did I have....even though it was dark, I had a good torch, and so I headed back up Scenic Drive for the Third Time in one evening!Once having spotted the sign , this one was a quick solve....and it was off to the Final.Quite a tight squeeze for my car at the roadside....plus for me at GZ.Easy find....Favourite Point rusty for my exciting night life tonight...and your well planned multi and mystery and Letterbox!{ FTF } # 3
We were on a date night at the test kitchen at Aryeh in Piha when these new caches were published. Checking to see if anyone had found them, we noticed this was still waiting to be found. As we were passing the initial waypoint we decided to find this one on our way home. We soon had the likely coordinates and headed towards them. By the time we arrived at gz, it was almost dark, so we grabbed the torch out of the car to help us out. A quick find here and saw that we had been pipped at the post by SN. Thanks for the cache and adventure tonight
