Another floral retrieve. We spotted this one quickly and now our boat has gathered a little more mimosa flower to its bow. A few spiderwebs around GZ, but they are no longer there and the log is signed. Thanks Tram 737. An awesome series. Lots of bell birds singing today. Domsky
We came up to Newie again this week for about the third weekend in the last four, this time to attend the [HAVOC Flotilla](https://coord.info/GCAZBVQ) event on the Newcastle harbour which was fun. We decided we might set sail up Cockle Creek after the event which was, obviously, a great idea on a day like this! At GZ I jumped ashore to have a proper look for this one and just as I was beginning to get slightly stumped, geokid calls the find out not far from where he and [our water TOTT](https://coord.info/TB9QQJD) were parked lol oops. We opened cache and added our names to the nice dry log. Cache in excellent condition. TFTC and series, team737.#2068
#7684Ventured north with [@Purplepeopleater](https://coord.info/PR4X0DC) and [@bella at waggy](https://coord.info/PR5DQ4Z) lured by the Cockle Creek series. Met up at the carpark and organised our car shuffle before hitting the water just before 9am with 2 yaks and a SUP. Excellent home made containers.TFTC Samuel737
An excellent morning with Crash and B@W paddling this marvellously reclaimed creek. All containers were in excellent condition.SL TFTC
Found on 28/4 with 2pods & Mighty Minions. Great weather with lots of fun & laughter. Thanks for these caches.
Another day of work but time to slip out at get a few more in this series. A different launch spot but needed a CITO. Easy paddling on the SUP. The extra height was good for some spots and so was stepping on and off. We completed the signing duties and re hid. TFTC
Definitely in line with the hint! Always a good idea to change position when you're out for a decent kayak ... Our group - with Mighty Minions and Goldberry17 - all contributed to our finds in this series. Cockle Creek 28-4-24
Out caching with 2pods and Goldberry17 today. the weather was brilliant, and the water was very smooth. we had lots of laughs, and I really enjoyed the day. the caches were all found with no problems and in good condition. Thanks for the cache Samuel737 tnln replaced as found sl
Decided to drag the canoe all the way to Newcastle so had to make good use of it! Did the cockle creek series and a nearby adventure lab today, not sure if the weather is good enough tomorrow. Good quality made for good fun!TFTC Wilbert67
Twas a great Friday arvo to be out on the water. The reflections were spectacular (photo attempt attached)
This cache was found today and brings our overall cache find tally to 13170.A day of paddling with Deni_f and Banj on Cockle Creek this morning. With the tide due to hit high at 8am we made an early start at 7. With two kayaks and one stand up paddle board we covered 11.7km in 3hours 59 minutes. It pays to be tall for this one on the SUP and I even did a bit of climbing. Thanks Samuel737 for the cache.
Find#1882After these caches were published I was very keen to get them with all of the different DT ratings. After Banj asked me, Today was the day. Came out with Big Matt also and had an absolutely glorious day finding these caches. I wish I had 15 favourite points as this was such a fun series to do. Matt had calculated that we paddled a little over 11km and a bit over 4hrs in total at a very casual pace Ill add. Thanks for a great series Team 737. Log and cache in good condition. TFTC
A great day to be out on the water finding some geocaches. Joined today by Big Matt on a SUP and Deni F in a kayak that an extremely nice bloke borrowed for him to use. This was our 3rd find for the day, extremelyhandyhavingBig Matton his SUP, as he made the retrieval of this cache easier than Denior i could. Find No: 9190. Out for a great morning with Yella Belly & shaneo58 , thanks for the cache Team737!!
Launched the old "Yella Belly" today and as I am the Captain I picked up an unlikely crew in shanoe58 as Retriever of caches and Grub Fred as passenger (and secretary) to do the Cockle Creek caches. Well it was a fun trip up the river with nobody falling overboard. caches were well hidden but with keen eyes they were found. Thanks Team737 for the series.

Out on the water today starting from the launch point near the railway bridge and heading upstream of there. After going so well on the earlier ones, I totally botched this one. My first mistake was to think the hint meant it was actually attached to (or in) a stump and I could see two possible candidates, one in the water and a hollow one still attached to the bank. Attempting the latter first, I ended up entangled in lantana before convincing myself it wasn't lurking in there, then paddled around to the other side of the stump in the water. My GPSr was consistently pointing me about 10 metres ashore, so not seeing anything on that stump either, I alighted from the kayak and scrambled up the steep muddy bank. Nup, no stumps up there either. After getting back in the kayak and taking another look around the stump in the water, I was about to call it quits and try again on the way back when I saw the cache hanging from a branch *near* the stump. It was an easy reach from the kayak, thanks no doubt to the incoming high tide, so after signing the log and putting it back, I took a reading of the coordinates I had there, namely S 32 56.053 E 151 37.086.Thanks for the hide and series, now on to #11.
[FTF]. A big hint. Don't leave home without a kayak. It's gettable by land,but it's a slog TFTC TEAM737
