TFTC,My goal today was to lift my finds for this date to 15 on my statistics page. With Adventure Lab stages now being counted into these statistics, this year is the last time I will work towards this. Also added 5 stages of an ALYep, sure I have been here before.Quick find, visited trackables.

Great case it was a hard one for our family. It was a very adventurous one and you need one person in the family who could actually go under there to grab it but I didnt find it.

Needed a little joy today. Thank you

25-Jun-24
This one wasn't too difficult given the relative lack of hiding spots for an object of that size and the clear hint. Surprised to have a little rainforest section in a park smack in the middle of Zetland. Thanks for the cache and the nice looking container!

13-Jun-24
Wow what a cool mini rain forest this is!I found the cache upon arrival thanks to the hint, then slowly kept strolling.Mentioned in passing to a dog walking muggle how cool this area was and was informed that the council workers had pretty much created it from scratch by slowly bringing plants here from other sites one by one over time. Wow.Unintentionally creating a bit of a haven in this rectangular space. Then the dog bowled over to a nearby Cafe awaiting a treat. Apparently many dog walkers drop by here and their canine friends receive free treats from the staff. Kaawaaaiii. Thanks for hiding a cache here showing me this pretty urban playground.

found (again)!

Stopped off at this Zetland cache on my way home from work, after a morning shift, coming armed with an umbrella to combat today's very wet weather conditions. Parked the geomobile in Hutchinson Walk (road) and then ducked over Gadigal Avenue and into a very wet & deserted Joynton Park.Dodged the puddles and soon arrived at a very familiar GZ and, having previously found the original version of the cache, made a super quick find of this new incarnation. Took shelter under the umbrella to sign the log, keeping the cache & log nice & dry, TNLN, then replaced the cache as found. No dogs playing here today, or their muggle owners, just one silly geocacher getting wet Smile Now it's back to the geomobile and off homeward. TFTC outback_australian.Find #6842

Cockburn Crew on tour to the Canberra Mega. Day 1 involved a bunch of caching around Sydney before making our way to Canberra for the Capital Geobash. We found a huge variety of caches, and its great to cache in new territory that we havent explored much in the past. Unlike our home state of Western Australia where we have found just about anything and everything.A beautiful day with great weather and even better company. Thank you to the local COs for a great day in and around this great country of ours.

Exciting times over the next couple of weeks as we takeoff for the Capital GeoBash in Canberra! Its going to be a flood of Sandgropers over east, with a host of West Aussies making the trek east for the event. Im travelling with fellow Cockburn Crew members Leg5 and Barnzy12, starting in Sydney and hitting the road to Canberra on Good Friday, before returning back to Sydney. Honourary mention to our fellow member, Cravo10, who couldnt make it after recently introducing a new geocacher to the world the week prior. Once in Canberra, the agenda is set, well team up with a host of Western Australians to conquer caches. Collectively, were hoping to make it the biggest ever weekend for cache finding. Following the event, the journey continues back to Sydney, with a mission to clean up caches and new Local Government Areas (LGAs), ensuring no cache is left unturned in this epic geocaching adventure. Something tells me that well need a holiday after this, well, holiday. Arrived in Sydney today after an overnight journey via Melbourne. Feeling pretty buggered, the time difference, short flights and transfer of aircraft in Melbourne didnt help. Despite a sleepless night, we had to push on, and the plan was to catch up with a friend in Coogee. I live near Coogee in Perth, but we pronounce it differently. I eyed off a few caches and LGAs to clean up in the process. If youre receiving this log, the chances are that todays mission was a success. All logs have been signed as WAC to save space, abbreviation for Western Australia Crew. Cheers outback_australian! Big GrinJoin us in Augusta, in Western Australias South West, for WA Goes Big 2024 (GCAGV8Y) on Friday 20 to Sunday 22 September. Log your will attend now!

I remember coming to this nicely maintained park some years ago. That time I came by public transport but today as I was passing the area I thought I would take a chance that I could find somewhere to park the geomobile not too far away.Turns out there's plenty of free 4 hour parking all round this area. Of course not knowing that I took the first and most awkward spot I came across and walked. There were plenty of dogs in the park today but not near where GZ is located.Once here I could remember the container and where it was hidden. Today I spent way too long searching, it was just that bit difficult to see. There were a lot of TBs in the container so I took 4 to move along.TFTC # 5843

I remember the previous cache around here, but I couldn't quite remember the exact location. I brought GeodogZelda with me as she loves finding dog related caches, and I thought she could sniff it out.It took me ages, poking around, getting dirty hands. Even Zelda tried digging, but in the wrong spots. Eventually, it was uncovered, well hidden, and out of muggle sight. Now for Zelda to have a play and me a coffee. This is a lovely little park in the heart of busy suburbia. I dropped off a Rabbit TB as this is Rabbitoh territory and an impressive geocoin with path tag, and replaced as found, with something for doggies to "bark" at! TFTC

I was caching way out in the NW Suburbs and was on my way home, when I saw this new cache published in the inner city. I was passing through on my way to the East. Stopped for a quick find and a pleasant surprise to be {FTF} at 6pm. I am sure I found a cache right here before?! TFTC outback_australian
