Yesterday was a nice sunny day, but I wasted it by binge watching The Rookie and Seal Team and a couple of movies. At least I did go and do the lawns. And planned to go cycling today. So today I got on the bike. Alas I can't go too far as I am on call at work. And it looks like it is going to rain, so just a very short trip. Can't wait for those decent summer weekends for a cycle into Wellington or over the Remutaka Incline. So anyway, I came here. Nice fast find. I noticed Judd Crescent Reserve is not properly marked on marked on the maps, so I will be add it in. Checked two other parks on the way back home - one had the same problem. Have fixed both now.
This was my last find of the day as I abandoned my search of the one up the hill due to the steadily worsening weather and too much mud. No such problems here though and the cache was a quick find. TFTC
I remember many parties in this street when a teenager, fun nights of boys drinking in the garage and girls in the kitchen listening to heavy metal.....now all grown up I am one of those still bitter kiwis who were locked out during Covid, am visiting the Hutt for the first time in five years to visit family and friends. A few places in could have been..... makes me wonder if the CO is watching - if so - hello!
Called here this morning, found the cache instantly in the first place checked. All in good order. Signed log, TFTC
#14,615. After attending the Xtreme Xercise event held up on the skyline ridge above Naenae, it was time to make my way back home. This one was not far away so drove around and parked next to the cache hiding spot. Hoped it would be in there and it was. Lots of houses nearby so very hard to be stealthy here. The cache was signed and put back under a bit of cover so that any nosey neighbours will hard it harder to spot. Thanks BigSteveOK for the cache.
All quiet in the area, I would have been reluctant to search otherwise. The title and hint made perfect sense to me.TFTC.
A quick easy find although for us it seemed to be a few metres south of the coordinates. Neither the cache name nor the hint seemed to relate to the hiding place. TFTC
A quick after-work visit to Naenae to check out this cache. Owing to the location I'm glad this was an immediate find although it did not seem to be hidden in accordance with the hint. I wasn't about to take a guess how to rectify that and so it is returned as found. TFTC.
Needing to find just a single cache today to help with a challenge, I popped by this way after work on my way home. The find was a quick one which was good as I'm never that keen on locations where you are very overlooked. All is fine with the container and log, which was replaced as found once I'd added my name to it.Thanks for the help with the challenge.
