Logs
We were heading home from a days caching in Matamata, and we stopped to find a few caches as we head home. MrsJAGs phone was having a meltdown here, so while she shut it down and restarted it, Net found this cache on the bridge. TFTC
While returning home from a family holiday we decided to do a spot of geocaching. Gave this one a go and was able to give up when my son spotted it. Not sure I would have ever found it without his help as I was looking harder than I needed to. Also fyi watch out for the local wild life (see picture). Great hiding spot, thanks for the cache.
Over this way today picking up some caches for different challenges that Im working on. This one had us stumped at first but reading past logs helped. Container may have been interfered with - the end was off and there was no log in it but I found some old log paper nearby. Will message the CO. TFTC
Not what I expected or where I thought it would be. But it was and log was signed and returned. TFTC
Had family down so we decided to go for a drive over this wayNice easy find thanks
Had family from WhangareiWe were going for a walk in Karangahake, but the rain soon changed the plansFish & Chips in ThamesNice wee hide thanks
Night 1 of our two day adventure doing the Rail Trail with BearCache #35Total found so far: 32This one definetly threw us for a loop twiceChecked one side of the bridge, no white pipeChecked the other and found a obvious white pipe, but no clear place to hide a cache, Checked back on the first side, and sure enough, white pipe with the cacheSigned, returned, and on our way
Some of the team SEAC crew had been in the general area a little while ago but ran out of time to cache this area so today was all about fixing that up! The weather was great, company fab, ended with no DNFs and quite a nice number for everyone. Ooooohhhhh very nicely done here! Log is very wet but we put some waterproof paper in for next finders. Thanks for the cache - a fav point for the camo!
Out with the team SEAC crew on a lovely winters day. Wet log but nice camo here. TFTC!
Out and about in the area caching today with a number of cachers from Team SEAC (a group of cachers from South and East Auckland that often cache together). Today there was Keylev, Laval., NurseDr, FleurScott, and Mrs NZT. Logs signed as SEAC to save space.Clever hide. Log was sodden so we have added a new log sheet and zip lock bag to hopefully keep it dry.
Out with the team SEAC crew for a long weekend adventure. Lovely views. Soggy cache. No ducks. TFTC
Just as I turned up to look for cache on the bridge a couple of contractors came to inspect the newly completed pedestrian clip-on, so I couldnt look for this. Will be back next time I'm in town.
I remember playing many games of Rugby against Paeroa Old Boys..great times and days how times have changed .Found the cache .Log very wet thanks for the hide
This was fun find. Sadly the log is very wet. We managed to crawl out names on it. Thanks for bringing us here Jackson2895
Out and about while staying in town for the weekend. Found using the hint, quick find TFTC.
We were heading to the Hauraki Rail Trail for a walk and detoured slightly to look for this cache. There was no one around except for the ducks although we felt a bit conspicuous as there may have been someone watching from the nearby house. It took us a few minutes to locate the cache as it is such a nice hide, we actually touched it a few times before realising it was what we were looking for, very nicely done. Thanks Jackson2895 for a great hide.
Was on my way to Waihi for a 60th Birthday party. When I realised there were 2 new caches in Paeroa, I decided it was a good place to break my journey... even though it was pouring with rain.Quick find due to hint.Unusual! Thanks for another of your caches, Jackson2895!
Had people in the area so combined some caching along the way. This was the 1st for the day. Well done on the hide. Thank you for the placement.
With Gap (of Fap and Gap)... Were out on the road early this morning. Our plan is to blitz the Kaimai-Coromandel areaWhat a tale of two halves. While one end of Paeroa was humming, this end of town was a ghost town... We were momentarily sidetracked by hint objects, but eventually found the correct one. Thanks Jackson2895. TFTC.
With Gap (of Fap and Gap)... We've noticed a growing collection of cache hides in the Kaimai-Coromandel area since Christmas. It was high time to do something about it. We were on the road fairly early...What a tale of two halves. While one end of Paeroa was humming, this end of town was a proverbial ghost town... We were momentarily sidetracked by hint objects, but eventually found the correct one. Thanks Jackson2895. TFTC.
area quiet today as there was a fair happening at other end of town today.wrong white pipe at first than spotted correct one.interesting hide.TFTC
**#20,706**FTFFTFFTFFTFThis new listing was published as we were coming out of the track at Wairongomai Valley, it made for a fast last km to the van and then a speedy trip to GZ, soon parked up and scouted the area, a couple of options but only one likely one based on the hint item, sure enough, that was the cache, an interesting way to do it, we had to carefully cut the selotape to open the logsheet which was still in an unsigned state.Done the formalities and even the "found log later" people tend to want these days.
