Logs
#6 cache today and now ready to head back. Nice quick find here. Log had been shoved in by previous finder so was a little tricky to get out but managed to do so without ripping the log. Log folded nicely and cach returned. TFTC
After doing the ones on the Northern Pathway I decided to fhead westward along SH18 to locate and sign off a few caches. No, this isn't the start of SH 18 it is either a bit back that way or a way the way I'm signing off these caches.Cheers for the cache, G-2.
**#21,436**No its the end for me, another quick one, well ahead of schedule so off on the bike in the Burbs to find a few more...
This is my last one today on the cycle way before we head over the bridge into the depths of Unsworth Heights. A nice easy find here
Daddypig is in a bit of a sulk because his band practise has been cancelled again. The geohound is happy because it means Daddypig has to take him for a walk. I've made them both come for a quiet walk along the cycleway to look for a cache or two or three. A quick find in the hint location.
I had been out in Milldale collecting the new subdivision caches out there when an opportunity came up in Albany for a first to find. I rushed off to it and was pleased to indeed be number 1 there. I've wanted to come back to get these cycle trail caches ever since they came out. I'd had to rush off to my Grandsons 5th birthday party that day and leave the ftfs to the locals. Today I parked in Chester Ave and again walked the cycle trail. A quick and easy find here. Thanks for the fairly new cycleway series
In the area today with the SEAC group of cachers for a cycle along this newly cache populated cycle way......I had managed to pick the odd on off on previous visits to the area, so today we were going to do the trail in its entirety.....A good variation of cache hides here as expected from this CO, meaning an enjoyable day was had....plus they were all there and in good condition.....Signed in as 'SEAC' to save logbook space as I was joined by Keylev, UncleSamNZ, NurseDr, Laval to name a few.TFTC.
A plan was hatched for available Team Seacers to head over and check out the caches on this new cycleway. NurseDr, UncleSam, Mr Stik-a-Crane, cragger and laval were all keen. The weather was great, company was awesome and caches were of course fantastic! We were now 'on our way' back to the cars but of course needed to do this cycleway but phew a whole lot of uphill to get here....Thanks for the cache.
Out with a few members of Team SEAC on our bikes today. Sorry for the generic logs. Thanks so much for placing these caches. All logs signed either SEAC or Team SEAC.
Nice quick find. Out for a bother cycling adventure with team SEAC along the cycle way. TFTC
Not the start for me but my u turn point. Another easy find. Thanks G-2 for this series.
This was neither the start nor finish of our caching today. Nice to get another quick find. Thanks.
This may be #1 but almost the last cache we found today. No problems with the find and time to turnaround and find the last one along the pathway. TFTC
Our third find in the series after starting at number three.Once at GZ the cache was quickly spotted and as we signed the log we had a bit of a laugh at the nearby sign about the self service dog wash. We imagined dogs turning up without their owners and waiting patiently in line holding towels and brushes until it was their turn to use the facilities. A perfect activity after a ruff day, they must have had a chat to their owners and renegotiated the terms of their leash. Or maybe we are barking up the wrong tree.Nice cache by the way. Thank-s G-2
Part 2 walking the cycle trail with Supernannny and Net61.This was a nice quick find in the obvious place and we were off to the next one along the cycle way. TFTC
Out with Jag50 and Net61 to finish of this Albany Pathway.Easy find here thanks.
Came down quite late and a number of caches were still showing FTF , so gave it a crack - getting the bike ready was now paying off .Had the bike out now , and decided to hunt down these FTF caches . TNLNSL TFTC FTF Nice one
Out and about for some walks and cache collection along the way. I parked up at the end of William Pickering Drive and entered the walk/cycle way to collect this group of three hides. I decided to make this particular cache the start and find the hides in numerical order. A short walk up the hill and I was soon at ground zero. Cache was an instant find in the obvious spot. Now to back track back down to number 2. Cheers for the cache placement!
Pipped to the ftf on all these, but nice to get to the top of the hill, time to head back down. Nice variety of containers for these, cheers
