A lovely walk in the sunshine and a nice easy find to continue the daily streak Thanks rustynz for your hidden cache Find#180
Phew, glad I was not searching a brick wall here! Nice easy find. Cute duck family near gz!
Gorgeous weather today in Auckland, not that the C.O could see it as she was in Houston Texas, about the time I was here today.... boo hoo! But I know she will be having a nervous, exciting time as she arrives. I came here on the e-bike, as I do, and managed to park right next to GZ, now where would I make a brick in a wall? Try there maybe? Naaah... over here then? Yes, there you go, I'm onto it!! Now off to my sister's place, she isn't well, coughing and spluttering etc so I need to make a big brother appearance and cheer her up a bit. Have an excellent time in USA rusty!!
Found after massively overcomplicated matters by finding another brick further off trail Thanks for new cache!
I had an appointment in Avondale so had to step out of my comfort zone and make the drive down as Ive been having to stay local since my back surgery 2 months ago. As I was a wee bit early for my appt (traffic was lighter than expected) I parked up on Holly St and made the short walk across the boardwalk. I use to live in the area years ago so often use to walk Heron Park but had never come down to this part of it. I initially checked the wrong spot then spied a more likely spot and soon made the find.
Worked in avondale for 10 yearsI used to come to Heron park and have my lunch after a hectic morning at the surgery Nice to come back here.Thanks.
Great day out w 3 finds. Nearly rumbled by a muggle w dog Lovely new park area to visit.TFTC
Was heading home from an Event in the city tonight.,,,,, and I remembered I hadn't yet visited this rustynz cache! It has been out for a month now....but I just haven't been in the area....So, I made a quick decision to divert to Avondale on my way home!Quick find here...Thanks.
MrsJAG was out and about doing some errands today, and as she was driving past this lovely park, she stopped to find Just another Brick in the wall. It was a lovely hot 28 degrees as she made her away around this beautiful park towards gz. There were a few places to check, but lucky the cache was found in the first place that was checked out! Can't believe that we were second to find and beat Supernannny to an Auckland cache!
Down from Whangarei with Lis's crew & yvettetb on a Leap Day mission to get all available cache types and sizes in one day. As it turned out, we managed to achieve our goal and bookend it with FTF's to start and finish the day, with a few more along the way as a real bonus. An early start was called for and this cache had popped up at 6:00 am. Being as it was not too far from our intended start point, we decided on a little detour. Even at 6:30 in the morning I was amazed at the amount of traffic on the motorway .. !!!With one of my favourite Pink Floyd songs as the title, it made it quite easy at GZ to make a nice quick find. Very pleased to see the log was still blank and happy to sign off an FTF at 6:44 am to start our big day. TFTC
(FTF) 0644 in Auckland this morning for Leap Day to get the various Project GC badge add-ons. We popped down to Auckland last night due to the Brynderwyns being closed so we could make the most of our Annual Leave day. It was great to see this cache pop up this morning near our first destination of the day. Easy find at GZ. TFGC. Found with Lis's Crew and 0B80B8.
{FTF} at 6.4aamAnother dawn raid. Well, its semi light this time. Got my co-conspirators along this time, 0B80B8 and Yvettetb. Thanks for the new cache
