Logs
**21,989**It is indeed a good day for cooling off in the shade. An interesting hide, which did not have Mr Geckoh fooled. Unfortunately the log sheet was mushy so being the resourceful person he is, Mr Geckoh added a signed leaf! Sorry - next cacher may need to take a replacement log sheet. TFTC
A clever cache which we have the same hide ourselves. The container however needs maintenance as is damaged causing it to be rather dangerous.Thank you kiwistewarts for placing this cache.Log signed as B&PFind number 5207
Bravely attempted this one with two littles. At first we also went to the wrong spot, the coordinates are accurate. Left a sticker. Really enjoyed this GZ, thank you. Watch out for sharp edges!
I also went to the wrong tree first but reading previous logs, I considered to move a little further down the path.Interesting cache container, delicate to handle. Log totally soaked, but I improvised with an old pakn save receipt. Thanks for hiding and maintaining. Tftc
NEEDS MAINTENANCE Took us longer than needed, as we were looking at the wrong tree. Found immediately once moved to correct tree. Cache needs maintenance, paper soaked, container quite sharp. Uni Holidays which means geocaching! Wanted to get all the caches on this path! TFTC!
Went for a walk on the holiday Monday. This took a couple of minutes but after spotting something, it was clear where it was. Took my time to figure out the best approach and got myself to the cache relatively easily. However, the whole container was filled with water, and the log was completely unsignable. I did drain it but didn't have any paper to add my log to. I have a picture if needed. Hopefully it has dried out by now! Great container!
Had a list of caches thneat KC and I wanted to target today and this was one of them. Parked close to entrance and headed on in towards GZ. Reading previous logs gave us a good indication of what we were looking for and Mrs KC found this one. TFTC and for something a bit different.
Another sunny Sunday morning out caching with Team Welsh, mostly around Meadowbank. Not so hot today that we needed to cool off in the shade, but a pleasant walk nonetheless. Once we reached GZ the hide was spotted by one of us from the path, and the person nearest was directed to make the find. An interesting cache container here - nicely themed, thanks. Adding a Favourite point.
I couldnt understand the cache title until we found it. We initially went to the wrong tree and nearly stood in human waste ????A very well made cache that definitely deserves a f/p
Nobody around as i walked down the path. Ventured in "there" & found what i was looking for. The cache! A bit of thinking about access, before finally signing the log. [TFTC]
Just on a quick bike around St Johns / Meadowbank before the rain arrives this afternoon.Had to be careful not to cut myself on the sharp edge of the cache!Quick find, all good here. Thanks for these new caches!!
Out with Net61 to find some of the new caches in the area. This was a lovely walkway which we hadnt been on before. We soon spotted this FANTAstic hide. There were a lots of muggles passing us by on the walkway but they were unaware of us as we tried to open the cache. It took us a while to open this one but we got there in the end. Favourite point given. We are really enjoying your hides
#794What a FANTAstic hide! CAN't wait to see what other creative caches you come up with. Well worth getting attacked by bloodthirsty mozzies.
Wow wow that was very clever congratulations I'm giving that a favourite for sure
After finding the other three new caches in the area we had a walk through the cemetery heading in the direction of this cache and also trying to find some of our relatives who are buried there.Once we reached the cycle/walkway we realised there was a fence in the way and weren't sure if there was an easy way through but fortunately we spotted a hidden pathway that took us to where we needed to be.The hint about having a drink had us confused at first because by a funny coincidence someone had left a full bottle of water near GZ, which we thought might be the cache. A closer inspection soon ruled it out as an option but we wonder why it was there?Maybe someone had left it there to collect later not realising they had inadvertently created a red herring. In any case we reset our geosenses and soon located the actual cache which was very cleverly done. Thanks kiwistewarts for this and your other new caches nearby. We really enjoyed finding them this morning. This one was our favourite and a great one to end on. A definite favourite point.TFTC
Out for a walk in the area and picking up some of the caches around here. I see there most of these caches had already been visited today. Must of been after the rain. Thanks for placing kiwistewarts
Today is the only date we have missing to fill the 366 calendar. My husband went doing some athletic event at Mount Smart so I went for a stroll here. This cache was harder to locate than I expected, my phone probably struggled under gigantic trees. Tftc
M25: ha-ha! Well, first time finding one of these. I could cool off when I get back home. Nice and easy find log all good and signed here. TFTC.
Thanks so much for all these geocaches you are placing kiwistewarts! This one was such a surprise, not what anyone would expect!Well crafted.Very ingenious indeed.Made me smile...{FTF} at 5pm.....Great how you are making them all different....Favourite Point for sure
