Logs
We came back for a second visit this morning after an unsuccessful effort yesterday. Took more notice of the spoiler photo this time and soon had cache in hand, thanks CO for the tip!Thank you, Madman001, for this very good hide, a favourite point from me.
TFTC smile 20995 Out and about on a Sunny day grabing a cache to try and keep a challenge going signed as GS1947 on small logs found this on my way home early today It's Party time at GCARTY0 - 05 October 2025 Sunshine Coast come and join us for a great time Thank you Madman001 for placing this cache for our enjoyment
Missed this the first time we were in town. Now that we're back and saw it had been found a few times we had to take another shot. once we found it the next challenge was getting to the log. It took some thinking on how, but managed that also. A tott was helpful. Thanks.
Back in town this weekend with our bikes and had to avenge this unfound cache. I pinpointed the bush, and bsharwood found it quickly. Need the Tweezers to get the inner tube open but signed and returned. Forgot what a lovely park this is. Saw a black Swan!
Took awhile to find. Lucky I was hidden when rain came down. Located the cache. Signed the log and returned to where I found it. Thanks Madman001. All good with this cache
Checked on cache after multiple log missing reports. Found it moved to a much easier higher location. And moved him back to his original hard position down low.The log was not missing it was there all along. What I think has happened is if you return the inner part up the other way it is less obvious that the part should come out. There is an inner entire bison tube that you all missed. There's another part that turns to open.
We found Shiny new Holman but he was missing a log (both ends checked) and as we didn't have a spare consider cache found. Thanks Madman001
Log wasn't missing wondering if the person before me found the right one or not...
TOTT needed here. Very clever, it had me wandering whether I should call in reinforcements who were waiting in the car.
avenged the DNF with Woodwahdi. just didnt fiddle with it enough last time. use your car keys to get it out if youre struggling. tftc!
pretty certain we found cache but for the life of us couldnt figure out how to get it apart or get out whatever logbook might be in there. left as we found it
Took a while but we found it. Very well hidden. Almost didnt open it because I wasnt sure what it was.
Out and about in the Cotton Tree area on the geobikes with smallwombat, to clean up a few new caches. This was one of them. smallwombat dived into the bushes whilst I watched the geobikes. He soon came up with the goods, well tucked away. Though, it did take a bit of time to put back together. Eventually we found out that there was a piece still left at GZ so smallwombat grabbed that and we soon had it all back together. Thanks for the cache Madman001, let's hope it lasts!
This is a nice park! Cool community gardens nearby, large open space, swans a plenty. Awesome. This was my first cache find for the day.Out doing some maintenance and finding a couple a new caches with JDOutdoorsAUS
A short stop on my way past today and once at GZ made a quick find. Log signed then all was returned as found.TFTC
No idea! We saw a couple of white drainage pipes but not 3 together. We looked around the bushes for a bit but no luck. Cool birds.
Popped out to do some caching today. Was a little dubious of this one based on previous comments but thought wed give it a crack. The Mrs and I attacked it from both sides hoping to increase our chances of seeing it. Stealthily spotted within 5-10 minutes but took a few more minutes to confirm it was what we were after. One of our favourite finds
Checked on this one it's still in its spot and ready to be found. I did notice that the coordinates really do jump around more than I would like due to nearby tall buildings. And is making this one more difficult than I intended. So I have added an additional hint that should narrow down the search area considerably.
Saw 3 white tubes and searched for a long time but still couldnt find the cache. Bummer.
Thought I knew what I was looking for and where, but no luck. Many big webs around and did not want to search too deep considering how many will break in the process.
Madman001 I found your cache Nelson Park on 28/3/2024, 9:05am. This is my find 6484 and find # 2 today. Knew what I was looking for from the hint. Searched around and after I widened my search area soon had CIH. Lots of spider webs and mosquitoes. GPS bounced around but I found it between 10 and 15 metres away towards the wall. Thanks for the cache, mate! TNSLLN
Received some intel on the grape vine regarding this cache, then with the help of the hint and many previous trips to Bunnings - it all began to make sense. Arrived at GZ and began the search and then thought 'I hope I don't get arrested for being an old man lurking in the bushes'!! Fortunately the cache was soon found, log signed and returned as found. FP for a great hide. Now to get away from these darn mozzies. TFTC Madman001
FTF 1.40pm We looked for this one earlier today and came away with a dnf. Back at home we had a thought which the CO confirmed was on the right track so off we went to GZ again. I would like to say it was then an easy find but not for us. Eventually it was spotted after widening our search just a little though the coords were bouncing around a bit for us. Happily we signed the log and replaced as found. Thanks Madman001 for the adventures here today. Fav for the lovely location.
