In the area today to visit the newly opened Fairy springs trail, but arrived early and decided to stroll down this trail a wee bit....Nice find here, cache is in good shape.Very glad the trail name was not an issue when making these finds TFTC
After seeing some new caches in this area on Fairy Falls Track a plan was hatched for some Team SEAC to head out for another one of our adventures. As some of the group were about 20mins away a few of us headed up to this track for a few extras. Although we soon discovered that Mr Stik-a-Crane had arrived EVEN earlier and had already found them!!Nice quick find here. Thanks for the cache.
Yet another team SEAC adventure onwhatvwenthoughtnwoildnbe angry day after all the rain. Fingers crossed. Tftc
TFTC - off to do the new fairy falls track but master 8 is Kokako obsessed so thought we would try our luck just in case!
I noticed on Friday that the Fairy Falls Track was going to be reopened quietly that afternoon, so I decided to head out there on Sunday morning to check it out. After completing Fairy Falls, I then went over to Cutty Grass track to look for a couple of caches here. A nice quick find at GZ. TFTC!
Out for the day grabbing some caches, and we parked up to grab this one.I headed to GZ while Glen was still cleaning his shoes and managed to have the cache in hand before was even there. All looks good. Tftc #1770
I had use of the parent's car today and I used it to get a couple of FTF's in Ranui then Spragg's bush, just off Scenic Dr. I and a great time getting those, but I knew this cache was taunting me too! I had seen it pop out after I had thought I had cleared out the area, hate that when that happens...lol. Too far to try and get it on the e-bike, so took opportunity to get it today while passing thru. No issues here today G, all is good, and a good hint too. Thank you for placing.
The weather was too nice for chores today, so we headed out to find a few caches. After parking in the empty car park we made our way to gz. A nice quick find here of a well camouflaged cache. TFTC
Just enough phone coverage at the carpark to download this one and collected it on the way back from 2024. TFTC
Wanting to stretch our legs, this track fitted the bill. Did not see much cutty grass though. Cache was a quick find. TFTC
Considering there were only 2 cars parked at the end of the track there wasn't much space for me to squeeze my car in, but I did. In anticipation of a bit of a trek I tanked my dad up on some fancy Pellegrino pomegranate drink before we set off. I then had to explain which side of the shoe cleaning station to go through and how to squirt his shoes, but because I love my dad so much I didn't tell him to take his shoes off and clean his feet at the same time.Initially the GPS took us to one post. Unfortunately for my dad there was a massive ditch next to it, and he fell in. Luckily for me it wasn't that deep, and he got out by himself whilst I was signing the log I'd found at another post.
A solo excursion for Mr Coblet.I had the day off work and it was raining but I wanted to go geocaching so a park and grab excursion along scenic drive seemed like a perfect option, especially since so many new caches have been placed here recently. It was the beginning of morning rush hour so getting here through the traffic in the dark was a bit manic but once I reached scenic drive it all changed and became very peaceful with almost no other cars at all.I parked at the beginning of the track and made the short walk to GZ where it was a nice quick find once I spotted the hint item.I remember getting a cache here with Mrs Coblet a couple of years ago and it's nice to see a new one in place to bring me back.I now needed to make a brief detour from my scenic drive mission to get Gorby's new cache a short distance along the Cutty Grass track so off I went. Thanks G-2 for the placement and for bringing me back here.
