My weekly visit to Civic came around and I was able to catch up with friends for a coffee. this is getting more and more of a luxury these days. I then moved on to Fyshwick to visit this next Spinster cache. One of the earliest caches I did in Canberra was over the other side of this forest. Today it was just a short walk from the provided start point and the cache was found without any issues. Thanks for the cache Toy Hunters49972.1 TNLNVisited: World Traveling Gold GC A#6 & 2014 Caper Butterfly A#282**Albida**
Short Trip Away Day #3 [25/11] of 3Day three of my holidays (and day #3 of 3 for my trip away) saw me leaving the motel early to start the day. I started by heading over to Fyshwick for a couple of caches over there. For nice easy-ish ones. Three in the Fyshwick Forrest and one over in the park next to Maryborough St. After finding those ones, I headed over to Belconnen to find a couple of others and then onto the Mall for lunch. While at the Mall, I also did a game of 10 pin bowling because why not? I got a score of 120. Once I finished up in the Mall, I started making my way home. I found the next lot of power trail caches along Dog Trap Rd. I have decided on doing these caches section by section given, I drive past/through here so much. From there, I headed home while finding one more in Binalong before getting home. It was a great weekend away and I quite enjoyed catching up with everyone. TB visit. Some caches were signed as JM. A big thanks to the CO for adding this cache to game for the Geocaching community to enjoy. TFTCs!
I enjoyed reading about the studio that was used here in Fyshwick to create a scene! Loved the before and after pics too, the fake fireplace looks like it would have been the hardest part to set-up. I made use of the great parking coordinates, which is perfect on a weekend when all the businesses are closed. A short walk later and the cache was soon in hand. Thanks Toy Hunters, another cache in the series ticked off! A lot of travelling was done for this film!
Having ventured into the Canberra Outlet Centre for the first time, a little walk in the forest across the road was easy peasy! Thanks for the cache, Toy Hunters
Doing a late evening cache outing this side of Canberra after dropping Wilma at the train. Found a few hard to get to TE caches near the markets and then I thought I had enough time and light for this one as well. A much easier GZ to get to. Thank you Toy Hunters for putting the cache out, maintaining it and contributing to this great hobby we have. Happy trails, Flintstone's
Found with minniek on a glorious Winters Day here in Canberra. We headed into Canberra today after doing the Goulburn Parkrun (quick plug there) to attend the Side Tracked Anniversary event this afternoon, but got here so early we had a few hours up our sleeves - Hmm - better go caching After a mandatory trip to CostCo, we headed out this way for a few caches. This one was our next target, and after a short walk in we had cache in hand. Signed the log, replaced everything as found, then headed off to the next one. Thanks Toy Hunters !! Nice to cross off another of this neat series.
Out and about caching with fitzy_1965 on a glorious winters day. After the obligatory stop at Costco, we headed over to Fyshwick to do a bit of caching. This was next on our list. Thanks for the fun.

#4816 While out in Fyshwick on some errands I noticed another chapter of the spinster. Parked over near BCF and made my way on over.Just like last time I was here I initially found myself amongst the blackberries. Finally located the trail and followed it all the way to GZ. A quick find before returning via a much less spikey route. Three down. TFTC.
A quick find in the dark after dropping geowife at nearby yoga getdown. TNLNSL TFTC

Found with dty73, youban and Tankengine after the lunchtime event. I agree the hint is accurate, but the fact it's about my head high wasn't lost on me! As such, easily spotted today! Thanks for the cache.
Quick find after the lunchtime event and on our way home.Love this fun interesting series, and wonderful to read of the CO's involvement. A favourite point on the Orroral Valley cache (11 The Little Spinster: Basket and Bicycle, GCAMCRA) for the series.TFTC Toy Hunters

Finallya [FTF] of a cache from the great Toy Hunters! This has been a dream of mine ever since I was at Queanbeyan West Public School as a wee lad.I heard a rumour there were geocoins from HQ for those of us fortunate enough to make a Toy Hunters first to find, so I shall sit by the mailbox every day this week until it arrives.Found with Baristayan at 8.13am, once again at her urging after she took me along to another FTF in Jacka last night. Turning into a solid week already PS: 2024, year of the Bulldogthanks!
