Logs
Up this way with ABCDF4 for a few daysSo to the CO for making our time away enjoyable
With rebel98, in rhe car, but that is about to change as we have the bikes on the back.Combined effort, not as per hint, but as previous log, GL, happy to get the smile Love these rocks, and the cattle are on the other side of the paddock not bothered by our siliness
Ahh spent a good few minutes looking in the trees then decided to look around the flax found it in a tiny hidden hole
Thanks for this. Yes not in tree anymore. So dont get pricked by the Totara leaves! My sister helped me find this, her first ever find at 68! TFTC
Out with TheLandGirl and KirsTim today, doing a little bit of caching around the Silverdale/Millwater area. Had a good hunt around the tree without any luck, so extended our search and found the cache in a spot that we had, funnily enough, commented on earlier that it would be a good hidey hole for a cache! Log signed as VTK. TFTC!
Its no longer in the tree as there as its lost its tie, its hidden nearby which is actually a better place. After rummaging in the prickly totara it was nice to sign it and move on, thanks
Three of us looking here for ten minutes but could not spot the container. Certainly not "in your face" as Supernannny says. Missing?
The cows were up the top end of the paddock . So very quiet here today. Quick find thanks
Always good to see more Silverdale Boulders....Jan and I had no trouble spotting this one !Hope it stays safe , as it sure is in your face...!No cows today.
**20,806** Parked a short distance from GZ and walked down to the cache. A momentary pause when I located a type of foam cable in the tree and wondered whether the cache had flown the coop but moved further around the tree to spot the nice tidy cache hanging waiting to be found. A quick sign of the log and then it was on to the next one. TFTC
Im incapacitated after major back surgery and am one month in and getting cabin fever so the CO kindly offered to take me out for an hour or two. No cows spotted today though I do remember finding a sneaky G2 cache across the other side of the road a few years ago
Like previous cacher I too got distracted by the two sticks but then explored further into the prickly (ouch!) leaves further away and there it was. Nice cache. Tftc
I was down this weekend for a catch up with the kids and Grandkids. I didn't have time for any ftfs or events unfortunately but we had a great family weekend. After dropping one son off at the Hibiscus Coast bus stop to go back to Uni I just wanted to grab a few caches. Good to get the March Solstice souvenir all sorted. I parked nearby and quickly found the tree and boulders but I got a bit distracted at gz by a pole up beside the trunk. Then read the description and quickly found it. Thanks for the hide
We were headed to a family celebration in Millwater so stopped to find a few caches on our way. A nice quick stop by the boulders and the cache was soon spotted. Glad that MrJAG was with me today as he could easily reach this well camouflaged cache. TFTC
I'm not a big fan of totara (I think that is what this tree is), and after trying to reach this cache I'm really not a fan of totara. I don't know whose head is that high up but I do know that I wouldn't be able to hit them on the nose. And I'm still working out how Gorby managed to reach this. Did he stand on the boulder and launch himself from there? Or did he stand on Mrs TW's shoulders?But I did manage to get the log, sign it and replace it without losing the end of the bison, and before the geohound had eaten the mulch or spotted any cows.
A quick dash for this one on my way to the shops as it dropped into my inbox as I was about to leave! Lots of parking in the vacinity, but quite a bit of traffic on the road and at the junction. Had to be fast and stealthy. {FTF}
Strolled back to my car with gorby and stopped to find this one. These trees are so prickly but managed a quickish find here. Thanks for another local cache
So after bumping into Mrs TW on a new cache we both got ftf on just a few hundred meters south of here, we ambled back to her car and passed by this cache too, it had it's first find just yesterday, so the paper was nice and fresh. Happy to be signing in with TW as 2nd to find this morning. Thanks TWS for placing several caches for us over the last several days, appreciate your work mate! Always nice to get out of my house for R+R and a bit of enjoyable caching, today it was with my little buddy TW. Thanks T for driving me around today, appreciate our chance visit.
