Thanks for the cache, it was easy with the hint, and nice! Thank you for the history, we would have passed by if we hadn't stopped here for the cache! It's a pitty there aren't any hot pools here anymore.
a little bit tricky but found it at the end, GPS wasn't that flashy accurate
With three pairs of eyes, it was a quick find near the above-mentioned multi trunked tree .Thanks for the lovely wee walk up to this spit....Saw some bird life....Thanks, Glyn, for all that interesting history you shared in your description.
Heading home from Warkworth on a ladies caching day, we drove home via the old road to stop in Waiwera. It was a lovely sunny and mild day as we explored Waiwera on foot today. We were careful to give all the wading birds (mainly dotterals) lots of space as we walked around the beach to gz. We passed a cool seat and hut and have included these photos. Once at gz the decent sized cache was soon located. TFTC
We met up with Team Welsh in Wenderholm this morning, and after finding the 4 new caches there we moved on to get the 4 new caches in Waiwera. We enjoyed the walk along the beach and around the point to find this cache. Figured we had a choice of two places for this cache, and found it at the first. Thanks for bringing us here - don't recall walking along here before, but have seen it plenty of times from the road.
Nice walk around this Spit. Lots of birdlife too. No issues finding this cache. Tftc
Not sure if I have been out to the point before but it was delightful walk to get to GZ. Spotted the hint item and Mr KC went in for the find. Thanks for brining us here.
Found FTF No problems here at around 6am. Checked out the wrong gz first then found another and found the cache. Had to stroll back to the car, and get a pen as I had changed jackets at the car, as it was a little cooler than brisk.Got back, replaced cache, ,walked back to car, drove to Albany.TFTC FTF
