We are on our way back over to the West for a friends memorial service in Geraldton but this trip we are taking our time , enjoying the drive and picking up a few caches and taking in the scenery. We are mainly concentrating on Ad Labs, Earth caches and Virtual's as these don't give you any muggle problems. Of course there will be others in between.Unfortunately we weren't able to get to the 2024 WA goes big, hopefully next year.We really enjoyed the tour of Augusta with this ad lab as a guide. We visited lots of different locations. At the end of the lab we were rewarded with a set of co-ords for this cache so we headed here and happily the cache didn't take too long to find and our name has been added to the log. Many thanks for both the Ad lab and the cache.
Day 4 of our trip to Augusta for the WAGB 2024. Hoping to pick up most of the caches around town. Thanks to all for placing and maintaining these caches. All is well here! Tftc!
Last day of WAGB24, even though we're staying until tomorrow. looking forward to more smileys. Thanks to all the COs for making this a fun event. All good here, cache in good condition. TFTC
We got this solved after the Lab cache and made our way to find it today as we are heading home. It's always good to see a good sized container.
Find 9 of 33 on our last day in Augusta for WAGB. We almost cleared the map with a walk above the inlet, a drive out to Cape Leeuwin and a bike ride around Augusta township, before driving out to make a start on the Holland Track. An excellent day to round off WAGB, so thanks to all the COs for their efforts in creating, placing and maintaining these caches.Well constructed lab and finale.
Glad to have made the find here after completing the Ad Lab. TFTA Fratra ????
My first time at WAGB. This is the second day in Augusta and way back to Perth in the afternoon. I had 30+ found with 1 event, 1 multi and 2 AdLab. Thanks to all the people who placed the cache and arranged the events. It was cloudy at the beginning and started raining when I was geocaching around the town. Luckily, the rain stopped when I was approaching the lighthouse. It is not easy to find the traditional, multi and ADlab at the same time. Sadly, I forgot to do the final point to the multi.
After cruising around town grabbing the labs, fortunately spotting a couple of whales in the bay along the way, I quickly worked out the final coords and headed to make the nice find. As we all went our separate ways today with some heading home and others out and about, I headed out in the drizzly rain for some caching around town. After missing WAGB for the last 2 years, Im excited to be here in Augusta. Its great to see everyone old and new. Hanging mostly with Kyzabra, Granett Rokadz, TheFitzys and AlliedOz we plan to explore, grab as many caches as we can and just have a great time. An early start in Augusta with an event at sparrows! We ventured for something warm after a chilly event we cleaned up a few remaining caches around town and on the outskirts before the boys headed off towards Albany where we made some detours to find some FTFs on the Bibbulmun track which we had researched prior to the day for what was easy enough to get to from the road. A great day out and thanks for the fun.
What a midweek getaway to Augusta. Multiple finds, some new ones placed, a boat trip and a storm or two. Followed by multiple stories to last, early mornings for no real reason and only a few DNFs spread across the South West. Thanks to the local COs for their efforts in hiding and maintaining what we found.
After a VERY early morning event I set off for day 3 of my Augusta trip. Grabbing caches along the way. Many thanks fratra for placing this hide for me to find and adding to my adventures. Apologies for the generic logs. Great final to an enjoyable ad lab. Heres a fav
Found at 4:06 PM GAFF3.Last cache for the day and we took the short cut T3 route, but found the cache just where we expected it to be - but it was pushed way way in so we didn't find it on the first look Thanks to fratra
Found it. TFTC fratra. Spent the weekend in and around Augusta and teamed up with papillion367, ullyssia and meme28. Logs were signed as PUMPP. The weather was not good but the team was great. Most were found in reasonable time but there were a few that proved to be a bit more difficult . All were replaced as found.
Thank you! Teamed up with papillon367, meme28 and Photo-Play for a caching weekend in Augusta. The weather meant our boating plans were cancelled, but we had a great day finding as many caches around town and the cape as we could. Caches signed as PUMPP or ullyssia.Happy to make the find here after doing the adlab.

The geocaching plan for today for Taurus Six and I was up for discussion and debate during the week. Which direction would we go in on Saturday . We weighed up a few options and kind of agreed on a plan of action until on Friday we noted many more Pood new caches had come out in the Augusta area. We further noted they were still not found on Friday evening so we decided to set off this way early Saturday morning to try our luck. It was a beautiful drive down from Bunbury , the sun coming up and the dew steam rising from the paddocks. There were also lots of Kangaroos around which was a bonus . With the traffic light on the road we made it down to the back roads of Augusta in no time at all . Firstly we tackled the new trail at Walls Road - Back Tracks To Number 17 , this was an excellent dirt track and no muggles anywhere to be seen . The only noises of the morning were from farm animals and birds, what a lovely area . Then it was onto the Coastal Track series , down Scotts River road and onto the Milyeannup Coast Road , what a magnificent area this is , once again the bird life was prolific and a very peaceful morning , muggle free. We then headed in Augusta for one more first to find, we also converted a couple of previous dnfs and collected the Adventure Lab and a few other random caches before heading back to Bunbury via Margaret River and Cowramarup . All in all it was a wonderful day of geocaching . We enjoyed collecting the Adventure Lab elements in lovely spots around Augusta. After we calculated the cords for the bonus and made our way to the gz. Thanks for the cache Fratra .
We finished our nautical activities for the day, had a quick shower and off for a few more before it gets dark. TFTC and the AdLab we did yesterday great fun. Have a favourite fratra
FTFAfter a little stumble, promptly fixed by the c.o, we were on route to the final. We came at this from behind and then noticed the easier route, but in getnict fashion we always do things the hard way !Nice and easy find although you gotta get low !Dropped off a Tb!Tftc
Missed the ftf honour by only a few hours! I actually think I may have even seen the ftf happening while looking for another cache. Well done to that team!Dashed off intermittently while hanging with the family today in search of the geolabs. Thanks for taking me on an adventure!
