Another one: how do you find them! Looks like a private place but no publicly available great viewing spot, tftc!
Out for an early morning cycle nth over the bridge collecting a couple of more recent ones. On my return I decided I had time to grab this one. An enjoyable cycle on the usually busy city streets to get here. All quiet early on a Sunday. Had no issues getting the congratulations msg and then a quick find. Awesome container. Thanks for placing this multi cache TFTC_Sydney #3034
Complete this cool multi a month or so ago but could get access GZ due to a couple of gents having a chat on the bench nearby. Today I snuck down and it was a quick find and sign. TFTC!
#15287 12:15As per usual, the TFTC caches were easy to do, with clear hints and instructions!I must have been here before for a cache or a waypoint. I have no specific recollection on it anymore.TFTC Mr. TFTC
The drizzle was turning into heavy rain as I was making my way to the posted coordinates, so I did the sums as quickly as possible. By the time I'd made my way to the cache, the rain had stopped thankfully, so made for a muggle free find. Thanks for the cache and cheers from Browngang
Four ladies from Sweden (Tigertassen, ursus67, Lnganfans, pidjas) are visiting Australia. This day we took a long walk as the days before, more than 15 km. We mostly log as TULP.This was one of the places we visited.A big thank you to the CO for this cache.
Hlsningar frn Sverige, sdra Lappland Then it was time for a little adventure. The trip goes to Sydney in Australia and then on to Christchurch and Dunedin in New Zealand .On the trip are, Tigertassen, myself, ursus67, Lnganfans and Pidjas go, which means that we log under the common name "Tulp". The idea is that before we go home we should have visited a Megaevent, Geo Toroa. Greetings from Sweden, southern Lapland
We are four ladies from Sweden who are visiting Australia and New Zeeland We are logged as TULP This was one of the caches we found Thanks from Sweden
Nice view from the lookout tower. Found the green words. Started counting and adding hoping I had that right. Got the coords. Off for a walk to find GZ. Nice little park with a place to sit and sign log. Haven't been down these streets before - always nice to go somewhere new.
Got the coordinates, had lunch in a nearby hotel/pub and then to final cache. What an interesting part of the city. Never been here before. All good here. Thanks
After yesterdays FTF adrenaline rush at Middle Head (Mosman), for the new D4/T4.5 Towerverse MultiCache, today we pursued a couple of far more sedate D1.5/T1.5 MultiCaches at Wolloomooloo for our regular Sunday public transport caching adventures. Also visited the annual Transport Heritage Expo display at Central Railway Station along the way to the caches. Caught a 280 bus to Chatswood and a T9 train to Central Railway Station for the Expo, then onto a City Circle train to St James Railway Station, from which we then walked down to Wolloomooloo for the two TFTC_Sydney MultiCaches. After finding both caches we walked over to the Botanic Gardens for lunch at the gardens kiosk, then walked along Macquarie Street and down Martin Place to Wynyard Railway Station. The return journey was via a T1 train from Wynyard to Chatswood, and then a 280 bus back to home. This was the 2nd of 2 finds for the day. After spending a while perusing the various exhibits at the Transport Heritage Expo display at Central Railway Station we next came to the two TFTC_Sydney MultiCaches at Wolloomooloo, and this was the second of the two we came to. After visiting Harry's famous pie cart we headed to the tower for this one. Took in the sweeping views, spotted the green words, counted the spikes, entered the info into the geo-checker, and we were off to final GZ.Soon arrived at final GZ and made a nice quick find, TNLNSL, and then replaced as found. Now it's off to the Botanic Gardens for lunch. TFTC TFTC_Sydney.Find #7128
Found a large collection of caches during this overdue trip into the city.A simple little offset. This stealthy find was greatly assisted by the clear and descriptive hint. TFTC!
Before the Event at the GPO decided to locate a few caches.Nice view from this viewing platform . Didn't take long got the information needed to workout GZ. Then a short stroll down the street for a hidden park . The bench nearby came in handy to sit a while to log the cache . Hmm seen this type of hide elsewhere by the CO.TFTC TFTC_Sydney
I've been up here before, a very long time ago. The view has changed a lot!!!I was surprised when I reached the viewing tower. I thought Mr TFTC having acrophobia didn't like being in places like this. He also has arithmomania and put this task into practice up here.I quickly did the counting bit then began to scan the horizon for the Green words. As it happened I began looking quite near the words and moved around in a clockwise direction looking, looking, looking. I was beginning to feel a bit desperate as I couldn't see anything in green. Then there they were!Off to GZ.Haven't been here before. It was quite busy today. I grabbed the cache and sat on a rock wall to do the legal stuff. I was surprised to see a couple of entries today from other cachers who had attended the World Postcard Day Event. They must have been here very early this morning. Of course a muggle came out of one of the nearby premises and sat right at GZ. I had to replace the cache from the rear. Lucky I'm flexible. TFTC # 6237
After the WPD Event frazeydaze and I headed over to Woolloomooloo to find a couple of C62 caches. After collecting the necessary information and doing some finger counting it was off to gz where a well blended in cache was found after some scrounging around. Cache all good. SLRC as found. TFTC C62.
In Woolloomooloo with oldmorty finding a couple of TFTC Sydney Multi-caches.Up, up and away. What a great view from up top.Spotted the green letters and went round counting spikes. All clear from the checker and off to GZ.This cache reminds me of one of the first Calypso62 caches I found.TFTC
Detoured to the 'loo after celebrating a fellow cacher's 10th cache-aversary at Kingsgrove this morning, lured here by 2 pretty new TFTC caches.Managed to get a handy parking spot opposite the wharf and after finding the other cache, was soon studying the 'loo view from aloft. I soon had what I needed there, and then what I really needed ... but thanks to cache density rules, it took a few minutes more to get what I really wanted, a log to add my name to. Another well crafted multi and hide TFTC_SYDNEY ... well done!
A couple of new TFTC multis were enough to entice me me to take a train ride. It took me a while to find my way to the top, but once there, I was given some impressive views of The Loo. In time I spotted the green letters, and used some basic maths to get the number. Into the checker, got the tick of approval and off to GZ.Another quick find thanks to the excellent hint. A nicely crafted cache. Signed and replaced. TFTC MrTFTC
After driving and walking with Surdivisio around the Southern Eastern Suburbs for a while, we saw that a few new caches were published including two new multis at Woolloomooloo. Picking up MaxAdventurer after work on the way through we drove as quickly as we could, until we hit a big traffic jam. We checked the 2 caches and GHHH had FTF on 1 of them. Still in the traffic jam. GHHH got FTF on the other one. Oh well we are nearly there. Have to settle for 2TF on both. OCW Surdivisio and MaxAdventurer. ?? TFTC_Sydney
Joint 2TF with EverestHigh and MadAdventurer. We got held up in traffic, thats Sydney for you. Still worth coming here for a spectacular view at dusk. Nice camouflaged cache, thanks TFTC_Sydney
