#15,008. I stayed overnight in Rotorua and planned to spend the morning mainly caching the new bison series. But decided to pick up a couple in the city first. This was one of them. I know the area around the Polynesian Spa pretty well having spent my younger days in Rotorua and did a lot of bird watching close by. This cache is very nicely placed and the hint was very helpful after I had wiped out on the nearby slippery mud! Fortunately did not end up in the hot pool close by. The cache is cleverly disguised and well hidden. Signed the logsheet and replaced as found. Thanks Kiwi_Does_Stuff for hiding it here. Gets a favourite from me.
A bit of an afterthought for the day but we went here after dinner to suss out the spa packages that were available and I couldnt resist the cache. It was raining and a bit chilly but irondale and I uncovered a quick find for an expertly hidden cache. TFTC

Found by Blenheim Bear . On a wee day trip to Rotorua, the compass had me going into a dangerous area but sense prevailed and I backed off again. GZ about 6 away by compass. Thanks for the cache all good today. Blenheim Bear

Staying in Rotorua for three nights, we went for a look around Kuirau Park before I dropped my family off at the Polynesian Spa, leaving me at a loose end! After finding my main targets for today, I headed back to the Polynesian Spa to have a go at this one. The excellent coordinates took me straight to the hiding place where I quickly spotted something suspicious & produced the cunningly hidden cache. All was well so I soon had the administration completed. This gets a favourite point for a unique hide.Found at 15:48Cache #10420TFTC Kiwi_Does_Stuff
Not sure that I like hides in these sorts of areas. Saying that though, it is clever and the cache is in good condition.

The Sulfur sure was strong today, but it didn't put me off. The area was busy but not where the cache was. Another nicely crafted cache. Thanks for bringing us here Kiwi_does_stuff

**#20,731**Ticking off a few of the newer Rotorua hides that have popped up in the last week or two, some creative parking was required as most of the valid parking spots were taken, no worries, a quick find and we were back on the road.
On our way back to DCs car and this cache was along the way Again, I was guided to ground zone and quickly spotted something not quite right. Thanks Kiwi Does Stuff. TFTC.

**ftf** We happened to be exploring this area today. Shortly after we left the immediate area, I noticed this pop up on my map! I persuaded MrsRg to detour quickly back to here as we headed towards the Redwoods tree walk. I'm glad she said yes, because we were rewarded with a blank log book and rare overseas ftf for me. Tftc
Neat little cache hide, encountered an extremely curious muggle who was very suspicious regarding our activities!
