An afternoon at leisure before I check in to our Airbnb for the night and so Ive chosen a tiki tour to Hikurangi to pass the time.Probably a shame I couldnt get to this cache during the ten minutes or so it was in place before the trees were felled. At least the COs efforts have not gone to waste entirely. Once I found what I was looking for I had a few stop/go moments before finding the log. Thanks 0B80B8Find #5430Found using Cachlymsc_20, formerly caching as msebn

The cache itself was easily found but finding the logbook took a bit longer after scaling down the steep bank tftc

So glad the trees were removed. Spotted straight away. The dreaded guardians were on the move.

Another cache on SH1. Cache tricky if you are colour blind or in a hurry as you are sure to meet the guardians.

Murphy's Law....!!! Less than three weeks after publishing, all the trees around GZ have been pruned at ground level .. Cache has survived though, although it is a little more exposed now. Please ensure a little camo is applied before leaving so it is not immediately obvious to curious muggles.

I was busy feasting on hot cross buns with my Mother and siblings when this was published. I then headed straight down to see my kids and Grandkids who arrived in Whangarei on Friday morning. Surprisingly I didn't give geocaching a thought in the morning. Later that night I checked my emails and thought drat. I was hoping this wouldn't be found before we headed north today for our Easter Sunday family lunch. I managed to convince Hayden to come with me but Fi jumped ship and decided to take the non geocaching car. I was worried about where this hide would be. On my maps it looked like it was on the pull-off but luckily my phone led me down the steep bank and off the road. Found at 10.38am. Another neat hide with the log quickly found and signed. Always pleased to be {FTF} and especially on an ftf dot day (126/366). Thanks for the creative cache hide Smile
