I had to search here for a while. 2 suspicious people came by, but they moved on after they thought I was a Muggle I was still looking when they came back. Finally one of the two managed to get the right grip, my fingers were probably too short Many greetings again and a nice holiday in AustraliaElfenzauber from Germany

Visiting Melbourne for the weekend and staying in the city so picking up a cache or two while I'm here with legend. Met a geocacher from Germany who needed some help with this one. Thought she was a muggle but when we moved seat l away we saw she was searching so went back to join the hunt.

After a week of appointments in Melbourne, decided to go for a walk down to Docklands before heading back to Adelaide tomorrow. When I left the CBD was bustling despite the drizzle and generally dreary weather. By the time I got to Docklands it was largely deserted and devoid of activity...which meant muggles were few and far between. TFTC

This was another that was at an altitude that I don't favour. OHC wasn't keen on it either but she moves better than Mrs Papi and made the find. Thanks for placing this cache for all to enjoy.

08-Sep-24
It was OHC that made this find. Luckily for me, OHC is much more agile and made the find without any problems, exactly where we guess it was. Thanks for this cache placement.

14-Aug-24
In the city for work , I thought I would collect a few geocaches before heading to the event. I'm glad I did because some of these areas might be pretty busy later in the day. GPSr was bouncing everywhere, with I am guessing, the buildings interfering with the signals. But with the hint, I took a guess where I was supposed to be and spotted it in the third side I checked. Thanks for the cache, Mr. Donut 0.Hunter

Initially we were thinking this one might be on a branch but once we had found a couple in the series it made sense where this was going to be hid. A subtle retrieval and replacement after signing. TFTC

Found by The Empire + tismAfter the Melbourne Ice's spectacular 9-2 victory over the Sydney Ice Dogs in the AIHL, we decided to take a leisurely stroll around Docklands. The excitement from the game still buzzed in the air as we made our way towards the vibrant waterfront district.Docklands was especially enchanting under the evening sky. The modern architecture of the area, with its sleek glass facades and innovative designs, was beautifully illuminated by the soft glow of the streetlights. The reflections of the buildings on the calm waters of Victoria Harbour created a stunning visual effect, adding to the overall charm of the waterfront. Another quick one! Thanks for the cache mrdonut0.-M

13 July 2024 13:39 dalerious and I were on the water again, continuing our journey back to Herring Island. There was an event on Herring Island so we packed up the tinnie, dressed warmly, and chugged our way over to Herring. We also had a T5 Virtual on the Island, and with those 2 T5's now complete, I qualified for a D5/T5 Challenge cache I had been working on.But who was going to stop there. I have not been known to sit on my laurels, and I wasn't going to start now.We filled up the little motors tank, kicked her in the guts, and steamed down stream to the Bolte Bridge. We have kayaked from Herring to Bolte and back, but since we are in July, we decided to travel in luxury and keep as dry as we could. The weather forecast was ominous, but it turned out a glorious day. Right up until we loaded the tinnie back on the trailer late afternoon did it start to rain.We arrived at gz, tied our tinnie to a ladder and started the climb up to search for the cache. As I started up the ladder, a person in a garbage scow arrived and proceeded to tell us all about collecting garbage on the waterways. We nodded a few times not quite hearing all he said.Wasn't long and dalerious shot up the ladder following me to gz.Cache found safe and dry.Thank you mrdonut.

After attending AlphaDeltaIndigo's T/5 Event on Herring Island, as an encore, cat' and I putted our tiny tinnie (with all of 2.2 horses behind it) on a 14km round trip all the way down to The Bolte Bridge to score the newish T/5 trad' (Flamajo Goes West) before heading back to pick up a few land based caches (and an icecream Razz) along the river bank starting with this one on our return voyage. CoolWe were in no rush, and there was a 5 Knot speed limit anyway, we sat back and enjoyed the journey taking in the sights and sounds of bustling inner city Melbourne on what felt like our own private waterway. It was magical. Big Grin [:X]Apart from a few hire boats further upstream, we had the river pretty much to ourselves. There was one guy opperating a scow that pulled up for a chat as we docked here. I think he was lonely. It was a pleasant encounter. SmileAfter climbing the ladder onto dry land, the familiar looking cache was quickly retrieved thanks to the generous hint and a distinct lack of muggles about. Wink We were soon back on the water and heading upstream once more. RazzTFTC mrdount. Big Grin

City staycation tonight for the city-loving sons 14 year old birthday present. We are staying in the apartments right next door to this cache, so it was a no-brainer that I duck down to find it before heading out for dinner. I took a seat and surreptitiously felt for the cache between passing muggles. I was glad to feel something move in my fingertips in the first place I tried. Dont think this cache will ever get muggled. Great spot. TFTC

I certainly did not find this one easy to find like everybody else did. The GPS was bouncing around all over the place and I couldnt narrow it down. Then I finally had the sense to read the description and made sense of that.Tricky. TFTC.

25-Apr-24
I have an hour and a half wait before catching the next train in my journey. A quick look on the geocaching map identified four caches in the Docklands that were getable within my time frame. Today, Anzac Day, was a good time to be caching. There were no people to be seen, apart from a few out exercising or walking the dog. A quick search of the area soon had the prize located, and it now carries my scribble. I enjoyed the hint and the solitude this morning. Thanks mrdount for placing this Traditional Cache to enhance the game board.
