A short stop on my morning walk today. Cache retrieved, log signed and all returned as found.TFTC
khye was the TOTT. was easy tis pot from the ground but a lot harder to retrieve the cache! find find! TFTC
I'm sure there's an easier way to get this cache, but it was an excellent challenge. TFTC
we were 4 for 4 up until this cache. determined to find a way. Woodwahdi is getting maccas drive through as an award for his efforts. going to post a video of him getting it on my tiktok if anyone is interested. same name as on here. tftc!!5 for 5 today so far!!!
Came back to avenge our dnf.Saw the replacement, but I was wasn't er.. wearing the right attire to go for the find. I'll be back.
Back again today as we see its been replaced. Ad we found it! Within 2minutes. Campari has great eyes. Anyway...we could not get to it. I am thinking it disappears as peeps get it but don't put back. Anyway...another time with another tool.
No idea.Even with an idea on where wasn't down to shimmy.Next time gadget, next time.
Our last search for the day. Getting dark and chilly. 4 teens fishing. I explained what we were doing as they looked bewildered as smallwombat, Campari59 and self were all over the place. Surely we don't need a ladder? Anyway, 20 minutes later it's a dnf.
This one keeps going missing I have replaced again today. Hopefully it stays a bit longer than last time I don't want to have to archive this one as its a favourite of mine but it's not looking good.
Up for a week from Wintery Victoria with LittleBoss2 to visit her daughter. So, while they're at work, LB2 and I had an easy choice to fill in our day. We spent a lot of time above and below the bridge but had no luck. We did dig out a small medicine container from a recess underneath, but there was no log inside. Thanks anyway Madman 001
The original cache has turned up and been returned to its home. And replacement has been collected.
Temporarily disabled as it is either in the wrong location or the original missing one has turned up in a wrong spot. I should have this fixed within the next 7 days
A planned return drive to the sunshine coast today for an afternoon event sees me now going up a little earlier to include an unexpected appointment. As I was heading up I noticed that the two new caches from last night had still not been taken yet and the FTF's were still available. So I hit the little mountain cache as my first target, even though I was still 49 minutes away and the headed up to the next one before my appointment.I still had alittle time still left before my appoint ment so i headed over to this cache. A chat withthe local council worker and i was soon up and removing pigeons from there roost. I found this one with ease and did not require a TOTT, nicely tucked in a little spot. This is a nice area and a very busy little area too, lol. Today I signed the log and replaced the cache as found. Thanks for the hide here.
I had looked for this cache during its MIA phase but decided to keep it open and not LOG a DNF as I live so close I could recheck any time.Once I saw that you had replaced the cache Madman001 a quick recheck and soon the log was signed.TFTC
Checked up on it and no sign of cache where I left it.Replaced with new one and put bonus token inside (didn't have these when originally placed)
A beautiful morning here for finding this cache which was soon spotted. Our TOTT was deployed and the cache was soon in hand for signing the log and placed back where found. A fisherman only a few meters away asked what we were doing and just said o yeah when we told him and turned back to his net. Thanks Madman001 for placing the cache in such a lovely place. Fav from us.
Took our TOTT with us and I soon had the cache in hand, whilst geowife explained all things geocaching to the passers by. TFTC Madman001
After the fun of shaking the maraca about 795 times we extracted ourselves from the urban jungle and found our way to another of the Madmans hides. Once we found the right location and got to within about 4m of touching it I heard redbackspider arriving with a nice bit of equipment for which we were very thankful! Made us wonder what else has he got stashed in the back of that vehicle!Nice to also meet JDOutdoorsAUS out on the FTF hunt. Redbackspider did his spidey work and we passed the log around. Thanks mate! Thanks for another fun hide Madman001, good job.
Out chasing a few FTFs in between jobs on this beautiful Monday morning. Started my search rather unsuccessfully, searching underneath, then up on top in some awkward spots, but it felt far too muggly so I called it for the day. As I was driving off I noticed a ute with an interesting numberplate, so I immediately turned back around and met up with redbackspider, who had spotted it but needed a TOTT from said ute. We made our way over to find another two cachers underneath the bridge. Nice to meet you NeverLostAu and RovingWombat! With the new TOTT we were able to quickly retrieve the container without raising too many eyebrows and jot all out names in the logsheet. We then chatted all things geocaching and parted ways. Great to also be a part of my first joint FTF! Thanks for the fun Madman001!
FTF. Madman001 I found your cache Devil's Number Bridge on 8/4/2024, 11:05am. This is my find 6513 and find # 3 today. Found it, how to retrieve it? Back to the ute for a TOTT. Joint effort with JDOutdoorsAUS, NeverLostAu and RovingWombat. Thanks for the cache, mate! TNSLLN
