Logs
Patted the dragon on my way in. Soon at GZ. Cache found . Log extracted. Signed the log and returned to where found. Thanks Madman001. All good with this cache
Up the Sunshine Coast on this fine Friday after taking my therapy dog to complete a corporate office visit. An hours work, lunch with a friend and a spot of caching before coming home. Spotted on approach to GZ. A pair of old eyebrow tweezers did the job. Came at 1.40pm on a Friday off work so there was no one around to watch me work That was a first so a favourite point from me. Log is filling up quickly. TFTC.
Looked at cache straight away but was like nah thats not it. Turns out it was. Screwdriver wouldve been superb. Scissors did the job
cache was on the first spot I guessed. found with Woodwahdi. he was very doubtful but I perused and said I told you so which surprisingly, happens fairly often when we go caching together! he is still a novice. but then again, I only have like 50 something finds. my screwdriver keychain came in handy for this. ive had it for over 6 months and finally got the chance to use it!! definitely recommend you go get some for both caching and non-caching reasons. I think I paid $3 for them!tftc!
Next on the agenda for the afternoon was this geocache. For smallwombat this was a trip down memory lane as he told me about his childhood playing in this lovely spacious park. We started our search in the completely wrong spot, before paying the hint more heed. We soon found a likely object where the cache was hiding. We had no screwdriver but thank goodness I had some needle nose pliers that worked a treat and we soon had the logsheet to sign! Great camo, thanks Madman001!
Ah nowingi. We have history this park and i. Fondly found the former here too. I grew up around this park in various houses of middling distance. Always entertaining rocking up by tredley still decades later. Not much has changed really.Thank you for creating something different in an suburban park.
I had looked previously but thought "no it cant be there" and gave up on the day. Today returned and sure enough there it was waiting to be signed. Very convincing camo Madman001
A short stop on my way past today and once at GZ I soon located the cache. Had the right tool with me and soon had the log in hand, signed and returned as found.TFTC
Without a screwdriver on our bike ride today, we followed another finder's lead and used a key. SL and RAF. Cool cache. THANKS!
I don't routinely take a screwdriver with me on work trips so that added a degree of difficulty here. Fortunately not many people around at night. Just screeching animals. So I spent 10 minutes trying to get it open with a car key. Managed to get one side open enough to extract the log and sign. A bit eerie in here in the dark. But thanks for the cache.
Mrs and I popped out for a cache sess today - 4/4 found. When we arrived at GZ a couple of older muggles were having a lovely long gasbag which delayed our search, we came back a few hours later under the cover of darkness to finally search in peace. I literally looked at the cache the second we got to GZ but doubted myself with how inconspicuous the hide was but the owners directions just made too much sense. We quickly proved ourselves right and had the cache in hand. The log was a little damp but we signed and secured the log back in its hide. Fabulous hide!
Parked up and a short stroll across the park to GZ, soon spotted what the TOTT was needed for. Good of you to supply the nearby table and bench to sign the log, great idea for a cache. TFTC Madman001
Another quiet little park with no one there but us. We soon spotted a likely hiding place and using the suggested TOTT had the log out for signing. All put back as found. Another great Madman001 cache. Thanks for the hide.
FTF. Madman001 I found your cache Yeswingi Park on 9/4/2024, 8:15AM. This is my find 6517 and find # 1 today. FTF. Found it after a brief search. Cleverly camouflaged. A favourite from me. Thanks for the cache, mate! TNSLLN
