It is a lovely spring day and we are escaping the madness called "The Race" in Bathurst. We enjoyed our stroll around the paths and the great views over Cowra. Many thanks Freddo for the cache and the experience.

School holiday road trip through NSW and lo and behold a Freddo EC! Most holidays we head to SA and do your ECs so I had to chuckle today! Answers have been sent. Pity we cant say the view was good though as it was just a mass of fog - see selfie! Thanks for the geology lesson!

Day 15 of my interstate trip. Today I left Grenfell and continued to head closer to Sydney. Tonight I stayed in the Mount York Campground unfortunately it was dark when I arrived so had to wait till morning to see how nice the views from this spot. I managed to find 19 caches today and ended up with 3 DNF's today.Great spot well worth a visit.TFTC Freddo

Interesting features here to explore. Before reading about xenoliths, I would not have known why the rocks had marks on them.

We are traveling with Geoturtle 37, Papi4506 & The Drovers to do an assault on Bathurst and are picking up a few caches along the way.We were in town when we spotted this one and as we all love earth caches it got a place on the list. Once we got to gz we were really impressed with the scenery as well as the earth science that was around here.We collected the information that we required and hopefully we understand enough about Xenoliths to have all our answers correct. We have sent them off to the cache owner on behalf of all of us to save bombarding the CO with the same answers. Many thanks Prof Freddo for placing this cache in a very scenic area.

We are on a ten-day road trip from Sydney around the Central West. Were staying in Cowra for a few days. Drove up to this great viewpoint and admired the view - of both the surrounding countryside and the spotty rocks! Have sent our responses to the CO. TFTEC Cheers Gaztek

Reperio 09:59 {FTF}With the prospects of a new earthcache in the area from the Professor himself, we headed out to take a look at it, and see what we could find. We took in the views at GZ before wandering around the various boulders and recording our observations. A very enjoyable earthcache for the whole family.Answers sent to the CO.
