Out and about running errands at lunchtime today, and since I was in the area I thought I'd grab a cache while I'm at it. This was a nice easy find with only woolly muggles around, TFTC!
Out with TheLandGirl and KirsTim today, doing a little bit of caching around the Silverdale/Millwater area. A nice quick find here. Log signed as VTK. TFTC!
Out and about with Vistra and The Land Girl to gather a few caches around Silverdale/Millwater. Nice quick find and onto the next, Signed as VTK
Caching with KirsTim and Vistra mopping up some of the new and revamped caches in the area. All good here. Tftc
Well, today is another sortie into G-2Land but this area is more realisticaly WonderstuffLand. This finishes off the shoreline walkway series of caches.I have finally made it around the block.Cheers for the cache, G-2.
M26: walking ahead to quickly find this nice and easy cache, log all good.and signed here. TFTC.
Brought the grandkids around here after I picked them up from school to find a geocache. There faces when they saw it reminded me of the photo Flossie took of the cow here hahaha. Not impressed LOL.TFTC
I was passing by after doing some shopping so stopped here on my way. Quick find in a nice spot. Tftc
**20,916**Perfect spacings here for this type of hide. Thankfully we knew what we were looking for so a nice quick find and then notification of a new traditional cache nearby came out. So away with the route we had planned and off we go at great speed. TFTC
This was my last cache for the day. I'd parked by New World for the cache there and walked over via the clock tower cache. I got back to the car and it began to rain. Very pleased I didn't get wet. I'm off to meet my son in Auckland central for dinner before retiring to my Mums in Parnell for the night. I had a great day out here today with a fairly good haul of 27 caches - mostly by G_2 and TheWonderStuff. Off to Devonport tomorrow to fill in some gaps out there. Back to Albany/Orewa on Sunday. I first met Flossieteacake at the Tor event and another time we did a walk in the Waitakeries that Gorby had organised. She was very nice and brought along some delicious baking to share. Nice to honour the local cachers. A quick find here and no cow licks were acquired in the collection of this smile today, TFTC
Out with SN we stopped to find this cache. We managed to find parking very close, and took a few steps to get to gz. A nice quick find here of a familiar type of cache and we stopped to admire the great views even on a cloudy day. TFTC
As Mrs Jag has said, this was a quick find on our Caching Day in the Silverdale area.Congrats, Flossie, for the honour of having a cache named after you!
Not just a special for me but a San Fran Special, and all because of a comment I made about them and my level of excitement. And because I am so, so special. It's a shame I missed out on getting FTF here (hint, hint, maybe there needs to be another) but I'm only a couple of days late, and at least it's not raining at the moment.Getting back to the cache, I knew it was not going to be the easiest find of the day after seeing what was guarding it. But I was determined and wrestled it from the cud chewing jaws of a monster sized, sausage and burger producing machine. I was so brave even when it tried to flatten the fence to see the photo I had taken of it. Now I'm off back to the car to dry the cow breath condensation from the back of my phone.
Another Sunday morning caching expedition with Team Welsh, this time around Silverdale, Orewa and Whangaparaoa. This one was a quick find and replace. So quick in fact that Mr KC, who arrived a few moments later, reached down and retrieved the freshly returned cache thinking we hadn't found it yet. Thanks!
Being close to home turf I knew the best and safest way to get here from our previous find. Soon spotted what we were after and once signed it was back on the road. So much development consistently going on around here. TFTC
Having already found 2 new caches with Hearo420, I told him about this one so he was keen to come and find it too so we jump in his car and I navigate him to gz. Of course another squally shower passes over as we sign the log for joint {FTF} so I get a bit wet for the 2nd time today, but now had 4 FTFs.
