Spent the day in Tauranga grabbing some loose caches we often drive past but never seem to grab.. approached this one and saw the cunning hide. Attempting an Olympic high jump I managed to succeed in the retrieval of this cache. A bit of effort required to open but we made a quick effort on that. TFTC!

Found but too short. Found the right equipment & soon had it. Nicely camoed.

28-Jun-24
Nicely camouflaged here. A bit too high for us. But with the right equipment soon had it down. Tftc

Loved the novelty of this one so I am giving it a FP. Once the GC was sighted, the tricky part was retrieving and returning to position in the presence of so many car based muggles. Hopefully nobody saw me acting in a decidedly odd way, even for me!

With the niece on a damp afternoon. The weather was so unpredictable, this could turn out to be a Sunday drive. Lets see if we can throw in some caching for good measureA steady stream of vehicles passed by, making this one a real challenge. We found a tool to reach the cache and had to bide our time between passing vehicles. A good hide, though frustrating having to wait for traffic to move on. Thanks ninjahape. TFTC.

We had a spare hour or so. We were tantalisingly close when these caches were published, but we had no transport and walking in the dark and drizzle wasn't a wise option. Today we parked and crossed over. The traffic was crazy and a queue past the crossing at times because of the roadworks. It didn't make for an easy retrieval. There was a useful tool nearby which helped with the replacement. Thanks for bringing us here ninjhape

Nice hide in plain sight..only problem is that the traffic kept stopping for me to use the crossing..umm no problem retrieving and signing replaced as found..thanks Nijahape great hide

After being driven off the previous cache by an over-interested dog, this was a quick find but how to get it. A convenient tool was to hand and the cache was soon in hand. Unfortunately, the log is mush so I replaced with a waterproof strip. The main issue was then waiting for another gap in the seemingly endless traffic to replace it. TFTC.

Out with the newly created LegoBob_NZ ( the title of NSWOA has been retired) Bit of a wet one today but hey why not get out and about. Nice wee cache. Had to Scavenge for an assisting device. TfTC

[Ftf] @6:10pm.Finally new caches in my suburb. Was just about to bite into my hot chicken drumstick when the email notification came in. Chicken can wait and out the door I went.Convenient Carpark across the road. Hardest part was crossing the road at the new pedestrian crossing. Was on the crossing when a ute sped through well over 50 just metres from me! WTH! Cache was spotted instantly and not out of reach for me. Signed empty log and off down the road for the next one. Congrats on placing your first caches. Keep an eye on them, as they will need plenty of maintenance. Tftc

**#20,738**2TF for us here too.Having found the middle hide it was time to see if our arms were long enough on this one, hmm, not really, right, time to hoist Mrs Geckoh up on the shoulders... quickly reached without incident, good time to do it too after dark, the only issue with the location is that cars keep wanting to stop for you haha, each time one comes you pretend to walk the other way so they don't stop!
