Doing a trip down memory lane. We used to camp at woodside in my growing up years. Walking on the beach with mum collecting shells etc. Very different now with the dunes much smaller and the infra structure more modern. Thanks for placing these caches.
Came to Woodside Beach to do some fishing but the water was so dirty I didn't bother. Went for a walk instead to find some caches.Interesting gateway, would be nice to know a bit of the history of the placeTFTC
Great weather again for a walk around this area had the place all to myself l had no trouble with the retrieval which was good couldn't quite read the full name on the sign just needs a bit of pruning added my signature and replaced as found thanks grannyapple64 cheers KB
Tiz13 had planned to have a relaxing day at home. Hence, she was still in bed when the msg from a geocaching friend came through at 9am. FTF was up for grabs in Woodside. Where's Woodside?? So, some research was done. With a lovely day forecasted, I figured a stroll along the beach would be awesome and I figured I should make the most of the great weather so I was soon out the door with a toasted sandwich in hand and my morning coffee to pep me up. Reading the cache page on the trip up, I wondered how short a little short needed to be and where on the spectrum of a little short did Tiz13 fall..carrying the Adonis Tott was not going to be an option. Upon reaching GZ I soon spied where I thought the cache was going to be...and yep I was falling well short of reaching said spot to search. So I improvising putting my architectural skills to work. My hands came out empty upon my first search but hit gold on the second go. No 1/3 {FTF} For the day snagged.
