Driving our way further south today, we could see some lovely looking Geocache and puzzles in this area. It was a slight detour off the main road we were on, but we figured a walk and a stretch of the leagues would do as good.We parked not too far from the waypoint at the start, collected the numbers and then that is when we got our exercise for the morning. This was a lovely field multi, and armed with our TOTT, we soon had this one spotted and retrieved. We wondered if it might take awhile to return, but we got lucky and it was a fairly quick and safe return. Thanks Deni_f. A FP added. Domsky
Last time we were up this way caching was a few months ago with eldest geokid clocking up some flying hours nearby. Today he is clocking up some driving hours so we decided to drive up as far as Branxton and back (from the central coast), all up logging around 4 hours. We also logged seven caches Pleasantly surprising to get the top-shelf views at WP1 where we sat and derived some coords. After a false start for GZ by beginning on foot from there and realising we could prolly drive a little closer, we made our way down the quaint little trail to the cache where our hearts sank at the height of this one. We needed to add the third link in our fairly clumsy home-made TOTT, which often makes it quite difficult to control. Got it down ok but as is often the challenge with these caches; it took two of us and some luck to eventually get it back where it belongs! This gets the cache of the day award so have a FP. TFTC and fishy challenge, Deni_f.#2026
Dropped in a week ago to work on coords, but didn't have time to go for the find and didn't have the appropriate TOTT to catch anyway. With a bit more preparation today we made the trek to our solved coordinates. Beautiful little walk through here. Arrived at GZ and quickly spotted the cache, but was made a lot more interesting picking a bit of a breezy morning. Before too long we had cache in hand and quickly placed back in place before making the trek back to the Geovitara. TFTC
It had been raining so the road was damp but we managed to swim to the table and got the coordinates. We then abseiled down the cliff face got to GZ where the fun really began. The Eagle eyed Goldberry 17 saw the cache and then we levitated until finally, we managed to get it off. Signed it and then we sent the Eagle eye back up to replace the cache. The adventure ended and we just had to walk back up the hill. What an adventure I hardly have breath to log the cash. Now for a coffee. Yippee!the Eagle eye says TFTC
What a magical walk & I wouldnt have come here if there wasnt a cache here, so thanks for bringing us to this beautiful place. The fishing pole was wild in my hands but thankfully tamed by a 2pod. Getting the cache back up was interesting. Log signed as G7. TFTC
I'm familiar with this area after finding the previous cache that was here a few years ago. Great to see another great cache in a similar location. I had to borrow the required TOTT to access this, TFTC
