Logs
There were kids but we were slick. TFTC EthisEthat will explain the whole story
Madrabbitoh did the climb. she was up there scouting round, so i took a photo and nearly straight after we both spotted it. tricky climb. TFTC
Well after much looking from ground level time to go up. Up I went amd Geoian and I spotted it. Carefully climbed over logged and descended safely. TFTC
Eldest novo had a safe drivers course up here in Newcastle this morning. Youngest geokid and I filled in the time climbing trees. But we didn't want to steal all the fun from eldest geokid so we picked him up at midday and on the way home we stopped here to get three sets of eyes on this tricky hide. Just as well as it took all three of us climbing and circling and squinting until it was finally spotted and signed. Even the grab took two of us lol. Nice way to finish our day of caching - Newcastle is brimming with high quality caches which are always worth our 90min drive here. TFTC, Samuel737.#2052
Find#2892Wow! This is extremely well camouflaged. I have been here before and only had a brief look as I didnt really have the time. Today it was the first cache on my list. I knew it was going to take a while but after about 10minutes something just caught my eye and bingo there it is. Climbed up to where I thought it was and then couldnt find it. Another few minutes checking all the branches again and I spot it. A great tree climb although the last bit was a bit tricky to navigate. Absolutely love this series and this is my 90th tree climb. Love the DT rating too. Another favourite for the Treegeek series. Log and cache in good condition TFTC Team737
Wow, this was a tricky find. Quite a while was spent sitting in the tree looking around. As I was about to give up I looked in just the right place. As I reached out to the cache, the branch movement reminded me that the CO is a bit lighter than I am, despite its movement it wasn't about to break. Found with Crying Cowboy. TFTC
No luck looking for us today! Probably just need a bit more persistence than The_Watto kids were able to summon today.Fantastic climbing tree though, Dad had a great time.
A quick 2 day trip to Newcastle to visit Family, and of course do a bit of caching. Nice tree to climb. OCW MaxAdventurer. TFTC Samuel737
[FTF]. A joint FTF with Griz4b. Saw this new cache pop up around 11.30pm and rang Griz4b if he wanted to do a night raid on this cache. He was keen. Got to GZ and spotted the target ,but which branch to tackle. It took a good 20min searching all the places it could be hiding changingxfromconexbranch to another, but finally Grizz spotted the prize. Another great cache put out by Team737 a fav for me. TFTC TEAM737 and thx Griz4b
I was minding my own business, sitting in a tree at night in Aurthur Edden Oval when i saw a message from Mr shaneo58: Q) interested in an FTF? A) does a geocacher do what a bear does in this woods? Im in!So I dropped what I was doing and swung around to pick up S and his ladder. Within a few minutes we were looking up into a tree that wasnt in Morpeth. We spent the next 30 min scouring the tree, top to bottom and side to side. I felt like a kid again with all the monkeying around, but to no avail. Shaneo stopped to reconsider the most likely hides, and bingo, we had the cache in sight. A bit more maneuvering and we also had the cache in hand. Signed on the last stoke of the clock before midnight .[FTF] shared with Mr S, who signed it the next day Ladder stayed in the car.TFTC!!
