Found a natural tott that had a tiny off shoot that I could twist around and hook the cache out. Safe to say I was happy with myself. Tftc

Out and about caching with fitzy_1965.Today we targeted this group of Tankengine caches. It was a nice wander along the railway except for the blackberries! So many blackberries! After a bit of Macgyvering, fitzy made this find.

Found with minniek during another beautiful walk in Canberra. After a bit of a sleep in (oops we missed the event) we decided to keep to the rest of our original plans and drive in to Canberra for a walk through the bush and along a railway line. The last time I went out around this loop was March 2009 ! Parking at the Paintball place we headed off along the paths until we hit the railway line, which we then followed for all today's caches. This cache was the first of today's 'toughies'. Thankfully the coords were good and we soon uncovered the cache. With a nifty tool we soon had cache in hand. Stamped the log, replaced the cache as found, then continued on to the next one on our list. Thanks Tankengine for all nine caches today !! FP !

#22167 @1355My son said "Let's go for a walk'. I said sure, i know just the place, even though it looked like it might rain. We parked at the paint ball and headed up the hill to then along the old railway track. My son found it strange that we were walking along the border. NSW on the left, ACT on the right. We attempted this one earlier but couldn't find it, so headed on to get two others before returning to try again. Once back at GZ, I was describing to my son, how hard Tankengine's Trench was and what sort of hide it was, when I suddenly spied something. It then took us a few minutes to retrieve the cache and sign the log. By now the weather had cleared up nicely. TFTC.

The perfect walk for a nice autumn day. Fortunately I had the right equipment with me to extract the cache. TFTC.

8.29am [FTF] what a glorious way to wake up!We had our things packed, and were ready to go somewhere else for a cache, when the new caches emails started droppingUntouched caches are a bit of a fancy thing to get your names on these days, so we decided to make the most out of the morning and go for one.I would like to say, im generous enough that we decided not to go for the other 2 First to find caches in the area, out of the generosity of my heart, to allow others, to taste the fine dining that is a blank log. This had nothing to do with me needing to be back home by 9.30am to go to work. Now, this cache took some team effort to extract. But i said to myself: if i can lift the bigger bites of honey chicken with chopsticks, im sure i can get this cache in the same way tooThanks Tankengine for the placement of these. IM sure the publishing of these caches this morning was not a distraction so you could go to mulligans flat to get all those letterboxes ?? (jokes!) Congrats on the successful finds there!

Up early with Baristayan to go and grab a solved puzzle out south Tuggeranong way, but those plans were thrown out the window when a few notifications came up suggesting this indefatigable CO had placed a few more out along the old railway line!So the mission changed to an [FTF] expedition. We parked at the old paintball joint and headed into the forest, to where Id never before ventured.Perfect morning for it! Grabbed a few of the others through here en route before grabbing hold of that sweeeet, freshly ironed new log sheet. Right along the border I should add ??? Thanks! Terrific adventure. Found at 8.29am

Found on my walk on these old train tracks after tracking down some ftfs. I struggled for a few minutes getting the cache, but I ended up using a natural TTOT which did the trick perfectly! Thank you Tankengine for more great caches!

Beautiful Autumn day full of fun and action with friends. A relatively quick adventure along a beautiful old railway line that we have now travelled quite a few times before now.Quick find. TFTC Tankengine.

Fortunately, no trains today and we had seen a similar cache hide before along this track. So a relavely quick find. TFTC

I do like caching along this disused railway line (that I hope will eventually be reborn as a rail trail) - we had a very pleasant meander along here today.A nicely placed little hide here that needed TOTT assistance to extract. Thanks for another great railway line cache, Tankengine!
