A dash out to find a couple of caches between rain showers, saw us choose the two along this road. After finding the one a little further down the road, we drove the short distance to this one (didnt want to get caught if the skies opened again!) A number of options perfectly matching the name here but the GPS lead us straight to the right one and the cache was quickly spotted. Log signed and replaced as found. Thanks Dfc_jlk2019
Nice quick find. There was no log in it so put in a piece of paper to sign. TFTC
The day started with another great Tardy Mouse event, this time at the Coffee Club in North Lakes. It was a nice big area to accommodate our large group of cachers and we ate, drank and chatted in comfort while the rain poured down outside. I managed to catch up with quite a few people, discussing some caches that I'd had trouble with during the week and giving and getting some help with some puzzles. Every time I went to leave the rain increased again and so I stayed for much longer than I planned to. Eventually our group of lingerers decided that as we had travelled so far to be here, some actual caching should be done in the area. I had made a plan for the day which included a couple of North Lakes caches, so chamad and Dissister joined me in finding those. Afterwards I meandered my way home, picking up all the northside caches with the off-road attribute along the way. After admiring the view down the road, the 3 of us got into our 3 vehicles and drove 150m up the road to this one. A very quick find here and a cute little christmas tree it is. Thanks Dfc_jlk2019 for placing another quick cache for us to find!
Haven't had a find for almost a year. Been too busy renovating a house. Having a break in Brisbane so there is time to get out and about.Nice quick find to get back in the swing of things.Thank you,David

After what turned out to be a rather big Saturday night, I left a suffering wife behind after numerous cups of team to pick up a few north side caches on my way to the next major milestone.Parked the car in a safe spot and made my way quickly to ground zero where I soon found my way to the cacheLog extracted and mark made, I replaced the cache safely back into its hiding place, awaiting the next intrepid cachers visit.A big thanks to the cache owner for making this cache available for fellow cachers to findCheers
Found it after parkrun. Signed and put back. Just stay away from the wasp nest. 20/7/2024.
Your branches green delight us. They are green when summer days are bright. They are green white winter snow is white. Merry Christmas in July. TFTC
The cache location was evident as we pulled up and I strolled over for a quick find. A muggle road past while I was there and gave me a funny look.TFTC Dfc_jlk2019

Out this morning to grab a few finds before the Event at lunch. This was the first. There is a humongous amount of units being built across the road. Shows how long since I have been here and this road is no longer a through road. Signed the log and returned to where I found it. Thanks Dfc jlk2019. All good with this cache.
Some shopping in the area and I saw a few new caches in the area that have been placed since I was last here. After completing the cache down the road from this one i managed to find a park amongst all the workers trucks. Thinking this one would possibly be the same as the last I set eyes to the required height and found the cache straight away. A nice easy find here, I signed the log and replaced the cache as found. all good with this cache thanks for the hide

On Mothers Day, Mrs Woodyrothwell got a digital photo frame from the kids that our sparky son wired into the wall. Its one where we can send photos to it from anywhere in the space time continuum (provided you have internet access). Each day we jump on to see if the kids have added anything. The other thing we are trying to do is take as many landscape photos as we can in case we want to add them. Seeing we take most of our photos on our phones, its no reason they are nearly all in portrait because thats how we hold them. Its only the selfies in landscape because thats how phones are best held to take them. Also why do I look so amazing in selfies? The cache find was quite quick but the photo set up time took an eternity. Since we have worked out our photos would be on display to everyone rather than hidden in a caching log we are now thinking we have to be winning whatever the award is for photography in the art world. I would name it but I dont actually care. tftc
