Last find on the island for this trip. Truely a geocachers paradise! A little pooped after it all but a really awesome overall getaway.

The first ever wherigo on Norfolk Island has been found by us. Its been awhile since I have done one. Once near GZ, there were many options. But it was eventually found with many of us searching. Nice location too. TFTC

#7598 NI Day #4Having rounded up all the caches around the Cascades area earlier in the morning, it was time to work our way up the west coast, starting at the new WIG. How lucky to have this published during the week our Norfolk Island GeoAdventure was here. Mind you my phone doesn't support the Wherigo app but with the help of the CO and tagging along with some caching buddies I managed to find it. Love this area of the island, such a beautiful place to walk and spend some relaxing time with all the birdsong and the smell of fallen autumn leaves. We were looking forward to the launch of NI's first WIG. We have a lot of trouble with them nowdays, something to do with Android updates not working with the client anymore and freezing the compass, forcing a trial-and-error approach with the map. Fortunately this didn't place too many demands on that and we got what we needed to go cache hunting. Found with MummyPenny on our geotour of this fascinating place. This took a bit of fossicking around when I hadn't properly read the final hint but MummyPenny uncovered it for us. Thanks endeavour3.
