Cache was found after a short search. Thanks for the fun. Cleaning up Victoria with gridge98. We are on a mission this week. Completing twenty finds in Mexican local government areas is the challenge. Another find with the correct criteria. It is in Victoria and we have not accumalated twenty finds in this local government area.Today was the day to find this cache. Today is Thor's day the seventeenth day of the octavus month of the Roman calendar in the wonderful year of twenty twenty four. We found your cache container and added some inky stuff to the paper sheet or note pad you have supplied for a log book or scroll. The cache container and log book or scroll were in good condition. It was a bit windy today. It was so windy today. With the log signed and the cache replaced it was time to leave. Onwards to the next cache. Woot, that is not to far.I would like to show my respect and acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the Land, and their continuing connection to it. I wish to pay my respects to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures; and to Elders past, present and emerging.I will apologize right now, because everything from here on is here solely for the purpose of padding the word count and winning that one hundred word diamond badge again. Somebody moved the goal posts. So many caches to find. So many caches to log. We find them, sign them and replace them. This particular geocache was found using one of the following GPS enabled devices, Garmin GPSr, Montana 680t, Oregon 650 or Dakota 20 and an Apple iPhone 11 using the marvelous Cachly app. Waypoints and paperless geocaching were downloaded via GSAK 9. Log prepared, checked and submitted using GSAK publish logs macro.Warning, this hobby can be addictive. It can lead to exercise, meeting new people and finding interesting places you might not have known existed otherwise. Beware: you may have fun. Apologies for the generic part of the cache log. We do apologise for the generic logs. Thanks to all the cache owner for placing this cache here for our enjoyment. Thanks for the cache. Merci la cache. Danke fr den Cache. Gracias por el cach. This was my third stop for this cache. The first time, it was missing, and the other, the area was plagued with muggles and their doggos. However, under the cover of darkness, I could grab the cache. Thanks for adding this one here!

Sad to have to log DNF

09-Jun-24
Looked under, over and yes I stooped to feeling around inside too. No mint tin was found. Rats! The rats must have hidden it somewhere else or its a case of the blind cacher instead of the blind mice . Will be back after next find! PS: once I got home, my mind wondered to whether I had actually checked ALL likely spots. There is one area that I cannot remember seeing or reaching, so will return to give it another go next time I am out this way. TFTH

Finishing up work today, I thought to myself why dont I go out and find one of the newer Frankston caches whilst I meander my way home tonight. So with all the work in the office done early, and no traffic on the road at all.... I was off!Arriving at GZ, a local dog walker had parked right on GZ and was taking a while to exit the vehicle, so after a little bit of waiting the coast was clear and I soon had the cache in hand! Thanks for the cache and the little adventure!

GEOCACHE #224 (17/05/2024)

17-May-24
I live in Sorrento and I was in McCrae when I was looking at my emails and I saw an email saying there was a new cache published. So thought since I wasnt too far away from Langwarrin I thought might as well go for a drive up here as there hadnt been any finds yet and it wouldve been my very first First To Find cache. But when I got here I saw a car parked near the cache and they had a dog in the car so thought hmm they probably just been for a walk with their dog in the dog park where the cache was. But then I noticed that they were both looking at their phones the whole time so I walked over to the lady who was in the passenger seat as it was her son who was driving on his p plates and found out that they were here for the same reason!!So they ended up getting the FTF which was their first one as well but they hadnt been doing caching for very long but this was their first one! But at least I got the Second To Find instead but wish it was mine but oh well thats what caching is all about! HahaBut overall it was still worth the drive up here all the way from Sorrento! This was the only reason why I came up here today just for a few minutes before I head home now!Hopefully Ill finally get to have my FTF one day soon!Dated: Friday 117th of May 2024 at 3:40pm.2TF
