Thanks to Kitrisha who advised that the cache appears to have been "muggled" and contents taken including Red Travel Bug Dog Tag TB943QF. Please keep a lookout for this, hopefully it will turn up.This cache has now been removed for a re-think and perhaps replaced with a different container in a slightly different spot when I get around to it. Apologies for the inconvenience. I'll be checking the other caches over the weekend.
Found on a lovely winter day with Tilly 2010. Away from home with my Geo Westies Maggie and Molly.
Found on a cold morning. Caching with Angus 88, thanks for placing this cache. We have enjoyed our time finding these caches. Did not attempt the hide near the bridge. Look like May have been a climb involo
In Launceston for a few days visiting family and friends with having a week off work, with some spare time I decided to go out and find a few caches that had popped up over the past few years in areas I had been to previously. A quick find here cache is all goodThanks for the cache
Took a nice journey throughout the all of Hadspan. Lots of small parks to explore. Took is about 2 hours to find all of them. TFTC
Today we planned to nab all of the newer published Killian Jones caches in Hadspen we had just 2 hours to spare so we were up for the challenge of a mad dash geocache adventure!Okay after a quick side quest we are back onto the series! Love figuring out the cache names. Here we found this feathered friend had fallen from the nest! Oh no! Exposed most likely due to the very rough weather lately we picked them up and safely popped them back in their snug little hide. TFTC not many more to go but only 15mins left, can we do it?!?
When we saw the first of the caches in Hadspen published, we decided to wait until the complete set of thirteen were available. That happened this morning and this afternoon, we headed East to look for the caches. We have often driven through Hadspen, stopped a couple of times to look for some caches but had never toured around the settlement to take a systemmatic look at what the area has to offer. This series of caches provided an ideal opportunity to tour Hadspen. The series took us to a number of parks within the town and along the South Esk River - it was both an informative and enjoyable excursion. We were impressed with the care taken with the preparation and presentation of each of the caches. We found all thirteen in just under two hours. This cache was a quick find as we saw it as we approached GZ - the cache is quite obvious to any one passing by. We wondered if the cache had been hidden more carefully in the first place but is now not so well hidden. A check by the CO is advised for the longevity of the cache. During our visit we were watched by a feathered muggle - a large kookaburra landed on a branch no more than 3m from us and stayed until we left. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks KillianJones for the cache and the series.

Coordinates changed from:S 41 30.215 E 147 3.639Coordinates changed to:S 41 30.205 E 147 3.650Distance from original: 78.4 feet or 23.9 meters.Congratulations to Tassie Trekkers for FTF and for making me aware that my co-ordinates were out somewhat. Being new to hiding caches I appreciate the feedback and trust Tassie Trekkers as they have been at it a lot longer than myself. I have amended co-ordinates to those given by them. Many thanks. ??
