Hi everyone. Unfortunately this case appears to be missing. 4 of the caches I hid have already been destroyed reducing the initial 13 to 9. I will now have to check this 1 and see what has happened. Seems perhaps someone has downloaded the app and simply locating the caches to vandalise them. Unfortunately if this is the case I wont be replacing the Hadspen hides as I think the same thing would happen. So, if you see this one has been archived then you will know why. Thanks to PCN_24 for notifying me about this.
Unfortunately on checking this hide on 27th June at 4.45pm, cache has completely disappeared. I will not be replacing this. Sorry ?? pity some people cant just leave things "as is" when they can obviously see it is part of something.
Found on a lovely winter morning with Tillie2010. On a trip from Port Sorell with GeoWesties Maggie and Mollie. Many thanks for the abundant new caches in Hadspen.
In Launceston for a few days visiting family and friends with having a week off work, with some spare time I decided to go out and find a few caches that had popped up over the past few years in areas I had been to previously. A quick find here cache is all goodThanks for the cache
Took a nice journey throughout the all of Hadspan. Lots of small parks to explore. Took is about 2 hours to find all of them. TFTC
Today we planned to nab all of the newer published Killian Jones caches in Hadspen we had just 2 hours to spare so we were up for the challenge of a mad dash geocache adventure! And here we are at the end i said we have 2 minutes to find this! Just as i saw a glint of the cache. There it is!!!! Quickly getting cache in hand a scribble on the log! We DID IT! With 1 minute to spare we achieved the entire series. Thankyou Killian Jones for our fun adventure out and about in Hadspen, thoroughly enjoyed it. Now this tired cacher is off to go be a sloth.
When we saw the first of the caches in Hadspen published, we decided to wait until the complete set of thirteen were available. That happened this morning and this afternoon, we headed East to look for the caches. We have often driven through Hadspen, stopped a couple of times to look for some caches but had never toured around the settlement to take a systemmatic look at what the area has to offer. This series of caches provided an ideal opportunity to tour Hadspen. The series took us to a number of parks within the town and along the South Esk River - it was both an informative and enjoyable excursion. We were impressed with the care taken with the preparation and presentation of each of the caches. We found all thirteen in just under two hours. Our GPS wanted us in the middle of the street but the hint focussed our search elsewhere. When we found the cache, we were 7m from the published coordinates. The cache and contents were in good condition. Before leaving, we took a number of measurements of the coordinates and the average was S41 30.231 E147 04.054. Thanks KillianJones for the cache and the series.
One of eight newly published caches we found after being alerted to their publication.Made a quick find once at GZ.Many thanks KillianJones for your cache placement. As the log was blank we will claim *FTF* @ 15.33hrs.
