TFTC. Had us a bit stumped initially but made the find. Not so small after all!
Cache checked today. Its in good order and located in correct hiding spot. Log book in good order. I left 2 small swaps.
A nicely hidden and well camouflaged container that didn't take too long to spot thanks to accurate coordinates.Seems someone else has been tackling these caches today as there are logs for them on this same date. Guess they were later than us though as there were no other names in the log book when we were there. Thanks and a favourite point for your efforts with this one.
TFTC. Cache and contents are in excellent shape. Thought Id come out and walk Molly the Geodog and grab all these new caches.
New log book placed in cache today inside cliplock bag. Please close properly so the logbook stays drier for longer
A trip to Launceston for work on Friday and then a days caching on Saturday before returning to Hobart. The weather was acceptable for a days caching and after an early start I had a good day. Thank you KillianJones for hiding and maintaining this cache. Found on 14 September 2024 at 10:45AM. Thanks for the cache Finally found this one.
Cache checked at about 5.15pm today 9/9/24. Cache is there. Log book damp so I will replace when I can. Small swap in cache.
After the bad weather we have had lately and 3 x DNF's its possible the cache may be missing. I'll do a check as soon as I can and post an update.
Some major changes at this location since my last visit but no success in finding the cache
After checking this cache today, I found it had been destroyed and the log book was lying on the grass. Looks like a couple of young muggles had found it and scrawled their names on the log book before tossing it. I will replace this cache when I get around to it as I've got a busy week. Thank you to Budgietas for bringing this to my attention.
Hello KillianJones thank you for the cacheThis afternoon I made the trip to Hadspens to find some caches. This one was a nice quick find. Here I go again chasing caches to get a souvenir that no one will see.Found on Sunday, 28 July 2024 at 1415**TFTC**
We are currently staying in Bishopsbourne and on the hunt for caches to begin our march to our next major milestone before we leave Tasmania. We headed to Hadspen to find a few caches and enjoy a nice country drive.Another lovely church and a quick find was made. Hadspen has some great old buildings. TFTC
Another quick find in an area of Hadspen I have never visited. The CO may need to check this cache as it appears to have been muggled by a mugglette as pieces of lined paper (perhaps these were pieces of the main log) were scattered around the park.
Thank you ICYBEETAS for bringing to my attention the log book for this cache. It was replaced recently. I have checked it at 4.20pm today and it is still in the cache. Other paper may have been from original log book which was destroyed
Ive been notified that the log book has been destroyed. I wil replace a soon as I can.
Found on a lovely winter day with Tilly 2010. Away from home with my Geo Westies, Maggie and Molly.
In Launceston for a few days visiting family and friends with having a week off work, with some spare time I decided to go out and find a few caches that had popped up over the past few years in areas I had been to previously. A quick find here cache is all goodThanks for the cache
Took a nice journey throughout the all of Hadspan. Lots of small parks to explore. Took is about 2 hours to find all of them. TFTC
Today we planned to nab all of the newer published Killian Jones caches in Hadspen we had just 2 hours to spare so we were up for the challenge of a mad dash geocache adventure! This is where the breaks were put on! This one was probably the longest of them all to find. We obviously had something smaller in mind and way overthinking it. Found this cache harder to retrieve but got it out with a bit of poking about. TFTC zooming off to the next!
When we saw the first of the caches in Hadspen published, we decided to wait until the complete set of thirteen were available. That happened this morning and this afternoon, we headed East to look for the caches. We have often driven through Hadspen, stopped a couple of times to look for some caches but had never toured around the settlement to take a systemmatic look at what the area has to offer. This series of caches provided an ideal opportunity to tour Hadspen. The series took us to a number of parks within the town and along the South Esk River - it was both an informative and enjoyable excursion. We were impressed with the care taken with the preparation and presentation of each of the caches. We found all thirteen in just under two hours.Accurate coordinates and a style of hide we have come across before led to a quick find. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks KillianJones for the cache and the series.
