Thanks for the opportunity to find this cache as Im passing through England today, here is my story Believe it Or Not!! -After finally after 18 years I have reached the status of most prolific hider in the Southern Hemisphere with the grand total of almost 26,000 caches hidden! To celebrate Ive come here to find this most impressive geocache in these here parts! Shock, horror!! After travelling all this way through 28 different time zones and 3 huge oceans paddling with an Awe in an oversized armchair specially designed for this devious mission we finally arrived at GZ to see that the whole area had been rolled up and taken away due to maintenance issues and all we could do was place one of our own, unfortunately all we had was an empty gym wrapper and a cigarette paper ( only used once) sign it off and leave it at the only place I could see to leave a cache, I rolled the rock back to see the cavity under it and was immediately attacked by a resident rattler which buried its fangs into the improvised cache and refused to let it go, fortunately for me Im a trained snake charmer and within seconds it was asleep with the improvised cache still in its mouth. I managed to slowly lower the rock down on it hoping that the next visitor will be similarly trained in the subtle art of snake whispering. Phew, that was some mission!FP added for the licence to tell the story.NB MOST OF THE STORY IS TRUE, WELL, MY TRUTH ANYWAY,, DID YOU SPOT THE OBVIOUS LIE ON THIS AUSPICIOUS DAY?NB to the NB, we lost our pencil on the way over the Oceans somewhere so we couldnt sign in, next time were passing we will drop in , hopefully the CO has managed to tame the snake by then. Thanks I think.

This is the worst cache I have ever found. I seriously stubbed my toe having to climb those steps in my dainty Jimmy Choos, with a handbag not big enough to put a writing implement in. And then when we got to GZ all we found was the most pathetic example of a lack of imagination when designing a cache. I can't believe I decided to leave all of my washing and ironing, just so that I could find this. At least when I get back to my $6million mansion I can enjoy myself cleaning up my kitchen and cooking a Michellin style 4 course meal instead of this!Is that enough lies? I can probably do more, but my sarcasm levels have been severely depleted recently.I did find the cache and I did sign the log. And I did get a slightly damp bottom for sitting down on the step to sign the log.

**1,500,000**Well, what can we say... We have been working hard to find enough caches to tick over this milestone cache find. Up at 3am, falling asleep at 12.30am - two and a half hours sleep over the passed six years but it was all worth it just to find this cache. With our eyes propped open with matchsticks and swigging our sixth Red Bull for the day, we skipped merrily through the knee deep snow to GZ. A moments fear entered our minds (what if we can't find the cache and we have to add this to the 40,000 DNF's we have logged on our travels). Not to be deterred we hunted High and Low until with great joy Mr Geckoh cried aloud "Found it" and after a merry little dance, a quick sign of the log, we trapsed back to the van because an alert for a new placement had just come through - woohoo Lets go find another cache!

Us Three Westie Ladies came dressed in our best dresses and with our hair and makeup done ready for the Orewa High Society Ball. Instead our coach driver decided that before we attend the ball we need to seek this Cache "Queen of the Night. "As we entered into the deep and dark forest, some of our trio were hoping to find a handsome Prince tonight, but others of us were worried about being pursued by a great serpent or even a giant hairy beast. Fortunately we didn't have to venture too far, before we were alerted that there was some treasure below our feet. Our minds now dreamed of gold and diamonds - but alas this was not the case and all we found was a hairy toe - perhaps left behind by a Hairy Beast! After recording our visit, we descended back to the chariot and headed off into the night. Out for yet another fun day with Jag50 and Net61!Had made a great plan.....we would meet at Net's place at West Harbour and pop down to the Marina.Luckily, I had previously borrowed my daughters 3 Stand Up Paddleboards....As we are very athletic, and we had a strong following wind, it wasn't long before we reached Grand Drive !Just a short walk brought us to this lovely reserve .Awesome cache, I must say!On the way back, I persuaded the others that we should paddle up the Creek from Waiwera.....as I was desperate to avenge my DNF from alunb's cache GC6X7AA Speed Trap in 2017 when I broke my arm trying a short cut.Obviously, that was before my daughter got into paddleboarding. Some parts of this are true! But not many.....Favourite point for totally awesome container in a stunning reserve ....That part is def true . Go Jarstrat !You guys are legends....

We arranged to meet up with Team Welsh in Orewa this morning.Little did we know at the time, but we were about to discover the best cache we have ever done. We parked up and made our way through the dense undergrowth for what seemed like an eternity. Finally we emerged to a clearing that was a wonderland of birdsong and native flowers. After hunting high and low when we uncovered the fantastic cache it was a sight to behold. Won't give any details so we don't spoil it for the next finder. Suffice to say we'll be remembering this cache for the rest of our days.

What an unforgettable adventure! This geocache took us deep into the bush, and I have to say, Ive never encountered anything quite like it.As we trekked through the dense foliage, the sounds of nature surrounded me birds chirping, leaves rustling, and the occasional rustle of a small animal in the underbrush. The GPS led me closer, and the anticipation grew. I knew this would be a memorable find, but I wasn't prepared for the surprise that awaited me.After some intense searching and a few false leads, I finally spotted something out of the ordinary among the leaves. There it was! At first, I was taken aback. Who wouldnt be? But as I examined it closer, I realized it was a clever piece of camouflage. Kudos to the cache owner for the creativity! The cache vwas expertly crafted and blended seamlessly into its surroundings. Carefully, we removed it to reveal the hidden container. Inside, I found the logbook, dry and intact. I signed the log with a big grin on my face, knowing this would be a geocaching tale Id be telling for years. Most of this tale is true and why wouldn't it be.

I really didnt find this cache, or did i? I couldnt count steps nor did i stub my big toe. The cache was in 2 parts, the limb separated from the toe. An accidental amputation? Did some surgery & reattached the toe to the limb. Some parts of this log are true, some parts are not [TFTC]

I was lying on a beach on a tropical island sipping on a pinacolada and minding my own business when the aliens landed. Before I could say Jack Robinson I had been taken to their leader. We need you to go and retrieve something that belongs to us and youre the only person for the job said a distorted voice while a gnarly glowing finger or is it a toe was pointed at me. What? Who, me?? Make sure you sign for it, we need evidence that you have it in your possession. Next thing I was teleported through time and space and landed in a wet, cold piece of bush with a thump which woke me up and I realised it had all been a dream. Or was it?

I got up at the crack of dawn on a beautiful summer's day, not a cloud in the sky. I jumped in my helicopter, and made the trip over from my home in the crater of Rangitoto Island. Once I reached the mainland, naturally, I switched to riding by horseback, up to the miserable Hibiscus Coast. As my horse didn't like the hills, I caught the monorail for the last portion of the journey, getting off just outside the native bush. I made my way downhill, pausing to pet the native unicorn on the way, and completely shot past GZ. Doubling back, I searched high and low, and something caught my eye in the trees - sure enough, a classic keyholder cache, dangling from fishing line in the branches. I would never award a favourite point to a cache with such lazy construction, or so clearly out in the open. I was the last person to sign the logbook for all eternity, so am unable to claim the {FTF} in this instance. Fairly certain I heard the Loch Ness Monster on my way out. NTFTC?
