We are on our way back over to the West for a friends memorial service in Geraldton but this trip we are taking our time , enjoying the drive and picking up a few caches and taking in the scenery. We are mainly concentrating on Ad Labs, Earth caches and Virtual's as these don't give you any muggle problems. Of course there will be others in between. We do like geo art, we especially liked the way to get the corrected co-ords on these ones.Diane was able to sort it out while we were driving along. We didn't realise that there had been so much rain here but there was water laying around everywhere. We grabbed all the caches we could get to without getting wet feet and the log books now contain our name and with only 1 dnf we were pretty happy with our tally. Many thanks pood for the effort in setting up the geo art and the varied hides and container sizes..

Today is day two of WAGB 2024 and we are looking forward to a big day. Given our apartment is near the Bakery we started the day with a yummy breakfast from the Bakery and picked up a nearby cache before heading to the Community Hall for the first event. After collecting another near by cache we set off with Pommie Parkin 2 to team up and geocache together out at the Letter box series down Scott River Road . These Letter Box series were a very nice variety of interesting hides , most were straight forward however there were a few that you needed waders to get to them , in Liu of no waders it was just a case of jumping in and getting wet our feet wet. However this all added to the fun of the morning . So did having to quickly get out of the way for a tractor carrying rather large hay bails . Once all the Letter boxes were found we calculated the bonus and soon headed in that direction. Definitely giving a favourite for the series . We bid the Pommie Parkins farewell and we set off back into Augusta on our own and collected a few more traditionals along the way before hitting the Skippy Rock Road series and then clearing up the remaining ones from the Last Trail to Antartica series and other traditionals around Augusta before making our way to the CITO. All in all a fabulous days geocaching.

The Better Half and I collected the family and made a very early run down to do this new series of caches east of Augusta. Lucky for us I had loaded all the caches around the area into the GPS which enabled us to find the caches as the phone devices all failed in the very wet conditions. They did not work again properly until Saturday on our way home again. Not all the caches were easy finds and we had 4 DNF's. Those caches that we did find were with blank logs so joint *FTF* with the family.Log was signed and the cache returned as it was found. Thanks pood for placing this cache for other cachers to find.

Hi there pood. We decided to head to Augusta a fortnight early and hopefully pick up some FTF, to no avail - Someone had been out earlier today and scooped the lot. Thanks for placing and maintaining this series team Pood. I came down tonight after work grabbed 7 before it got too dark. Some were nice and big and quick finds some took a bit longer in the scrub to find. I am glad I have boots on and gum boots would be handy for some. Camping down here for the night then will tackle more in the morning.
