Left camp way later that we were supposed to so only time for one cache on the way into town. Amazing that there is room for such a big cache here. FP for that alone. Shame the area smelt like a public loo! TFTC
Doing a scenic drive today and looked for caches in the area, the name of this one made it a must! Plenty of parking at GZ, cache found in good condition.TFTC
Hello Tassie!Im excited to be exploring this southern state to see all the beautiful scenery, cultural and historic places and hopefully find a few geocaches.I havent heard of this comedy draw, but it is good to see people making their own way and using their talents This is a nice roadside stop with two truck drivers comparing their logbooks take no attention whatsoever as I retrieved the geocache and added a little puzzle swap thank you
Nice find. Good to have a comfortable surface to fill in the log on this cool but sunny morning.
Thanks for the cache stainless-steel-rat.After the event in Oatlands today, I decided to head home the long way. I usually miss this bit of the Midlands Highway when I head to the northern part of the state, so with a bit of time up my sleeve today (thank you daylight savings), I headed home via Brighton. This was a nice little break in the drive home, and a nice quick find at GZ.On a side note, one of my brothers absolutely loved Cheech and Chong - at the time I was far too young to understand what was so funny about them, and I can remember my parents rolling their eyes
.# # # and more #.Hi stainless-steel-rat and thanks for the cache. Out and about today in all directions, Cygnet, Mangalore and Forcett to name a few.Whilst I didn't really have time to stop between commitments, I did anyway. Afterall, there is a souvenir at stake.Very pleased to make a quick find. Also noticed what appears to be evidence of prior searches in the wrong spots Signed, put back quickly, and I'm off to make my next deadline. Thanks for the stash with no #Cheers,EPs
After a midday appointment on the Western Side of the bridge, i decided to check on the progress of the other bridge... at Bridgewater. It has come along very quickly. What a huge project that is.Stopped off at the IGA in Brighton for an Iced Coffee then was on my way to approach this one.Stopped off with not a single Muggle or Vehicle of any type there, very cool.Made a quick find of a cache and contents in A1 condition. Log signed at 12:44 on Thursday the 26th of September 2024.(A nice day, a wee bit chilly but sunny with no Icy Gales! Gotta love Spring )I imagined leaving some Cheech and Chong related swag but then thought better of it ha ha .Their movies are a good laugh TFTC SSR

TFTC ROLLY , I MEAN CACHE SSRAT
Hello stainless-steel-rat thank you for the cacheThis was a nice quick find even in the dark.A very comfortable caching experience.Found on Monday, 26 August 2024 at 1900**TFTC**
Found this cache as a Beta tester when it was hidden. Love the code and the location is perfect for it. I still don't know if Goose has gotten it yet?TFTC
I remember SSR getting all excited about the GC code that came up (originally for another cache) and the prefect spot presented itself to use it. I was here when the cache was placed and have been past many times since, and stopped a couple too. It's a funny area but I assume the truck drivers must use it, and now the occasional gecacher. Thanks stainless steel rat
Super fast find as we head from the north west to the south for a roller derby training session for LittleBoo17. Very very early start with lots of fog today but arrived at cache way earlier than originally expected so more time for caching LittleBoo loved finding a cache with swag enclosed (so many small ones up north) so we made a few swaps and left some extra out of our stash. Leaving a favourite cause we do rarely find caches big enough for swaps. Massive thank you for the cache Found with LittleBoo17
Today we further explored our back yard finding caches along the way, and this was one of them.We concentrated on finding the caches that have been published since our last visit. On the way home with whitewebbs we stopped near GZ and made a quick find in its hidy hole, signed and replaced. Cache and contents are in excellent condition. We found a variety of hides with varying degrees of difficulty. Many thanks stainless-steel-rat for your cache placement.
Out and about with Tassie Trekkers finding a few caches on a freezing, windy and drizzly day, but it was still great to be out caching as haven't done much caching lately. No too cold for a picnic today. What an awful spot to sit on the side of the highway. Found a cache though. TFTC
Going to do a bit of a loop on the big island but I had to do a big loop today to get this cache . Accurate coordinates made this a quick find , all's good at gz Thanks stainless -steel-rat

**FTF ** 9.20am.Just before 9am today I was taking my Queen to her second "Royal" home to receive some magic elixir which should help her fight off the common complaints that ail all of us but have a very bad impact on her. Over the last few days she has been desperate for me to make a long trip into higher and colder areas in pursuit of the elusive May FTF but i was not really in any frame of mind to be fixated on a long trip into the cold.On our journey into the "Royal" residence a message came through indicating that this cache had been published, so after dropping her off, and prior to participating in an orienteering event in the 7- Mile sand dunes, I decided to follow the philosophy of Cheech and Chong. Having determined that "insanity runs in our family - in fact it practically gallops", I decided not "to take life too seriously, because I'll never get out alive".Feeling "more relaxed and getting better at everything" I headed off for the nominated location. Getting very close to the location I remembered that "you go up, down, sideways, back and still end up in the same place". However the quick discovery of the cache and the delight with the empty log restored my sense of humour - ("it helps us cope with all the situations life throws at us"). So, I could head off to orienteering with a clear head and enjoy further success today. My Queen was also very happy and returned from her second home to relax and enjoy life relieved that the month had been honoured. Thanks SSR for the cache and the chance to discover some of the humour of these very "unusual" people who would have been appalled at the seriousness some groups and individuals take themselves in our current society.
We noticed this cache as soon as it was published and decided that it would be a probable hunt as we returned from Hobart to home later today, akthough we would have to get to the opposite side of the nighway as we headed north and then back back again. Accurate coordinates and the hint led to a quick find of a good sized cache. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks SSR fir the cache.
